Comments about CeraVe Suncare Sunscreen Body SPF30, 3.5 oz:

I recently went to the beach with several friends. They all applied a drugstore brand SPF 90+ spray sunscreen and I used this product. Within hours, they were all sunburnt, and my skin was perfectly fine.

According to the Environmental Working Group, Retinyl Palmitate and Oxybenzone are very dangerous and should be avoided in all sunscreens. This is one of the only products that contain neither. Yes, it's a bit harder to put on than the spray stuff, but it's far safer and way more effective than most other products.

    Not so great

Comments about CeraVe Suncare Sunscreen Body SPF30, 3.5 oz:

My Dermatologist recommended this product, I have had skin cancers removed. It is difficult to spread and there is nothing "invisible" about the zinc! It seemed to get "whiter" in the water. I applied it 20 minutes before leaving the house for the pool, massaged it into my skin, and, still, white film and it felt heavy.

Comments about CeraVe Suncare Sunscreen Body SPF30, 3.5 oz:

We were very excited when Cerave came out with a body sunscreen, as we are happy with several of their other products. However, we don't like this (myself and my spouse). On the pro side it has many great ingredients for sun and skin care. On the negative side, it does not go on easily, does not "soak in" well, and leaves a white cast on the skin. This was surprising in light of the "invisible zinc" claim. It is not invisible at all. We bought one tube, and will use it up this summer, but will not repurchase. Would not recommend. The Cerave AM moisturizer for face, which also has SPF 30, works much better than this.
