I was struggling with excessive perspiration for many years, until when I was 22 I discovered this product. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning, but at that point I was ready to try anything. This product saved my life. No more embarrassing wet underarms, no more yellow stained clothes, like it never happened before. I followed the instructions, and it worked for me, so I can only speak for myself.
Just be careful about the residue. They prepare you: might stain the clothes. So before put something on, make sure it's dried out well.

This is the best anti-persperant I've ever used. I've been using Certain-Dri for 9 years now, it's the only thing that has ever worked on my excessive sweating.The only thing that I do not like about this product is that it will irritate your skin, especially if you've just shaved. It comes with instructions on how to use it.

I have, or had, SEVERE under arm perspiration. It was embarrassing! This thing literally works overnight exactly the way it says it does. Use it before bed a few hours after you've showered. Use it every three days and you're good for life. During the day you can use a normal deodorant and this thing won't wash off in the shower. Amazing product, worth more in my opinion.

It's a process, but really, these are the only products for deodorant/perspiration that I would recommend....so, even if it takes some dedication to a routine, it's totally worth it! If you are female, you can finally be one of those "precious" girls that never sweats:)

I use this product each night before bed in order to perspire less throughout the day. I think it makes me sweat a little less, but I still get wet armpit stains on my shirts. Not a holy grail, but I will probably continue to buy it. It's worth a try. Not too expensive.

This is the first product I've found to help with excessive sweating. Be careful, as the product will stain any clothing near it when applied. Basically, each time I apply it I now uniquely wear the now-stained tank top to bed. :( I'm just careful when I shower to remove any trace of the product. I've noticed after even a week of not using the product that I'm not sweating profusely under my arms. As long as it doesn't ruin any other clothes, i.e., what I wear the day after, I'm a believer. Good stuff, although it does irritate my sensitive skin. Worth the burn, if you ask me. I may just end my sanction against white t-shirts and tops due to finding this product!

I was using other clinical strength products which worked sometimes and not other times. I have anxiety which doesn't help and worrying about embarassing pit stains doesn't help. So, I finally tried this and wow. Now I can relax and not worry about whether I'm going to break out in a sweat or not (which usually made me sweat because of anxiety!). I put this on at night, per the instructions, and it dries really fast. It has not stained any of my clothes despite warnings on the box that it is possible. It seems to also control odor, but I just apply some good smelling deo in the morning just in case, but I don't think it's necessary. I also noticed that it slowed down hair growth, which is an added bonus!

It works! I sweat heavily, sometimes in just one arm-pit and this does stop it. It took several applications of the product, it does itch the first couple of times I applied it but now the irritation had subsided and I ran tonight in 95 degree weather- I was soaked with sweat except for my arm-pits!
Use a different product for scent or odor control.

I am SO happy with this product that I could jump for joy! It's quite embarrassing to be a female and sweat profusely. I sweat when doing vigorous activity or sitting around. I sweat when its hot or cold. Every t-shirt I own has been very noticibly sweat stained. I've tried just about every product I could find and nothing really worked until I tried this! My armpits were DRY all day...I could NOT believe it! You have to apply it at night so it has time to do its thing to your pores, and it slightly burns/itches my arms at first while its drying, but its a small price to pay for all day sweat protection. I could not be more happy!

I purchased this product for post teen son who seems to always have sweat marks on his shirts. Certain Dri did not stem the excessive flow of sweat. He may need prescription strength. In any case, it is not worth buying online as you can get equal protection from Mitchum at you local [...] store.
