I used the deodorant as advised at night every 3 days but it barely worked the second day and definitely didn't last by the third day. After applying it at night it was super itchy but only for a couple of minutes. It works really well the first day but if you use it every day which you're not supposed to it could cause severe irritation. Im considering buying the AM deodarant too because my sweating is so bad.

I actually went to a dermatologist for an odor / wetness problem, and before I spent hundreds of dollars on Botox injections, they recommended I try this. It REALLY works! I have fair / sensitive skin so it is a little irritating. It says you should use every 72 hours so every 3 days. That seems about right. The bottle says if you find it irritating to use the solid, but no one seems to sell the solid. So use as directed, at night, not more than once every 3 days, and it works really well.

I LOVE this product! i spent several years struggling with hyper-hydrosis, trying to find SOMETHING that would work, i would wear multiple shirts and even under arm pads but after only four hours the sweat would soak thru to the outside of my suit jackets, ruined two suits before i found this.
it works by shrinking the sweat pores when you apply it the night before so u DONT sweat, no sweat means no embarresing, woman-scaring-away odors, and of course, no more ruined suit jackets.
when the store i had been buying this from stopped carrying it, i full on panicked, THANK YOU drugstore.com for carrying this (and at a WAY better price than in stores) and thank you shop.com for introducing me to drugstore.com!
Bottom line: buy this if you NEVER want to worry about underarm sweat or odor EVER again. just DONT use it every day. instructions say every 3 days, i go with every other day and im fine, use it every day and it will burn you a little, but again, only if you abuse it

It sounds silly, but this product really has changed my life. I've been dealing with excessive underarm sweating since about 8th grade. Every single day, I would sweat through my clothes. The irony of sweaters and sweatshirts was not lost on me. I wore black, because it showed my sweat less than other colors, and I rarely wore white because of the gross yellowish tint my sweat would leave behind. I even looked into getting Botox injections in my armpits.
I tried other clinically strong antiperspirants, and they did not work for me. I tried Certain Dri a few weeks ago, and I cannot believe the difference. I found it was a little irritating to my skin shortly after application with some slight tingling, but goes away within minutes.
I'm wearing bright colors again, and I definitely have my confidence back!

I'm 15 and I have hyperhidrosis (a medical condition in which a person sweats excessively and unpredictably). So I practically wore black so no one could see the sweat. I used Secret and Dove Clinical protection, but it only worked a couple days and then stopped working. Then I came across an ad for Certain Dri Antiperspirant and it is absolutely AMAZING! I can now dance around and raise my hand in class with worrying about sweat under my arms. I use at night every 3 days because it works up to 72 hours and use Certain Dri Underarm Refresher, Morning Fresh to prevent odor throughout the day. You really should try.

This product was not what I expected and I still leave sweat marks in my shirts! Darn! I only bought it because Patti Stranger swears by it! It is no different than any other deoderant!

I was struggling with excessive perspiration for many years, until when I was 22 I discovered this product. I was a bit skeptical in the beginning, but at that point I was ready to try anything. This product saved my life. No more embarrassing wet underarms, no more yellow stained clothes, like it never happened before. I followed the instructions, and it worked for me, so I can only speak for myself.
Just be careful about the residue. They prepare you: might stain the clothes. So before put something on, make sure it's dried out well.

This is the best anti-persperant I've ever used. I've been using Certain-Dri for 9 years now, it's the only thing that has ever worked on my excessive sweating.The only thing that I do not like about this product is that it will irritate your skin, especially if you've just shaved. It comes with instructions on how to use it.
