This stuff works great for an everyday cleanser. It doesn't leave any residue so your skin feels light and clean. I gave it 4 stars because it has a temporary baby powder smell, but it gets the job done. I would get this along with a medium scrub you can use once a week to get the deep, deep dirt out.

I have been using this cleanser for 2 years now. It is the best cleanser I have ever used. I travel a lot and it is handy to be able to bring this along with me. I can secure the pump with no problems. That is only one benefit to the product as it cleans my T-zone skin marvelously! If used morning and night, it will keep your skin blemish free!

If you suffer from cystic acne then give this a try. I'm in my thirties and had been dealing with monthly breakouts of large painful knots/acne since high school. These embarrassing blemishes would even leave nice little marks on my chin as reminders sometimes. I also have sensitive skin. I tried this and the first time it was a bit drying and left my skin tight. I continued using it though and my skin adjusted, cleared up and so far I haven't had anymore painful cyst like blemishes that last for weeks. My scars/marks from previous blemishes have started to fade as well. Since I only break out on my chin and jaw line; that is where I use this product. It's nice to know what normal skin feels like for once- soft and smooth instead of a greasy, painful oil slick. I'd would recommend you give this product a try if you are suffering from acne; it is economical, easy to use and not overly drying.

I have mild/moderate acne and use harsh treatments on my oily skin. This is the only face wash I've tried that doesn't dry out my skin. Other face washes have left me with painful, dry, flaky and irritated skin. My skin would even crack and bleed in some areas. It is gentle enough for me to use at least twice a day on my sensitive skin. When I use it along with my other products, I have beautiful, smooth skin. I am so happy I found Cetaphil!

I read the positive reviews and decided to try this product...and I am so glad that I did!!! I am 30 years old and have had very oily skin and mild acne my entire life. However, since I began using the Cetaphil cleanser, you would never know it. For the first time ever, I have not had an oily skin problem, yet have not been totally dried out either (like other "acne" type cleansers have done). All breakouts stopped within 2 days, and my skin is no longer excessively oily. Really. My only regret is that I did not try this product years ago. P.S. - The moisturizer is also great.

I started using this product about 3 weeks ago at the advice of my dermatologist and was skeptical of whether or not this would be strong enough for my oily skin. Well, I have to say that almost immediately my skin started to behave normally. I have a better tone to my skin and my pores appear much smaller. I cannot remember when my skin looked this good. I have been struggling with my skin since puberty hit. Now, I actually look forward to washing my face with this product in the morning and at night. In addition to this product my doctor also has me using Differin (pm) and Duac (am). My skin used to swing from being scaly dry to oily, but after using this product for two weeks, my skin has started acting "normal". It's startling and wonderful. I recommend this product very strongly.

I am a self-proclaimed product junkie, but Cetaphil is one brand I am totally sold on. I've tried oh so many cleansers, but this is just the best...and as much as I love sampling new products, this is the only one I will buy again and again. I just love it because it's light, gentle, and is fantastic at removing makeup. It doesn't even irritate my eyes! My skin isn't particularly oily OR dry, and this doesn't leave my skin feeling too taut and dried-out. Really, in the scope of cleaners out there, this one isn't anything fancy, but it's so simple that you wouldn't want anything more!

This is a fantastic product for my skin type in the colder months. I have oily, blemish-prone skin with large pores, but harsher products dry me out. It is even worse in the winter I live in Upstate New York, in a small town only ten minutes from the shores of Lake Ontario, which means I see a lot of wind, low temperatures, and a LOT of snow for several months out of the year. My normal skin cleanser (Eucerin) is perfect in the muggy summer, but much too harsh for the winter, so I tried this. I was skeptical because it doesnt have an acne fighter, but it is perfect. My skin is clean, not stripped, stays clear, and my pores are refined. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars, is that I did find I needed to wash three times a day to keep from being an oil slick, as this does nothing for shine or day-long oil control for those with very oily skin like mine. Otherwise, its perfect!
