Ever since I started dealing with a mild form of eczema I started using almost everything from cetaphil. I like this 50spf moisturizer it is easy to apply and moisturizes my face nicely. As for the white film all I can say is that I started using sunscreen everyday in my early 20's most of them had tititanium dioxide and zinc oxide in them that would cause a white film ( that nobody noticed btw) and I am in my mid 40's now with no sun damage or wrinkles created by the sun. In fact I wish cetaphil would focus on titanium dioxide and zinc oxide only in their sunscreen as these ingredient are more natural. I will take a white film any day (which can be covered with make- up) over any chemical filled sunscreen or prune alligator skin. One con though, why oh why is this little tub so expensive we are dealing with a recession here.

This moisturizer feels good on skin, but when you apply it, it is very difficult to rub in. Your skin has a white tint like sunscreen that has not been rubbed in on a child at the beach. I have extremely fair skin and my face looks like I have white makeup on. Too bad.

I was allergic to something, probably a product a substitute hairdresser used. I developed a horrible rash, nothing would stop the itching. The dermatologist recommended cetaphil as a wonderful product. They do make great products but they are expensive.

I put this on right after my shower when my skin is driest, and it would not sink in. I checked back after almost two hours and my skin was still shiny and my pores looked huge. I have oily skin but it still should have sunk into my just-washed face. I ended up washing it off and never using it again. It sucked. For a good moisturizer with SPF 50, I recommend Neutrogena Healthy Defense moisturizer. I've been using it for two years now and it's been wonderful.

I was diagnosed with an allergy to something I used. I was scratching my skin off. The dr. prescribed this and I found it did not make me itch. The trouble again is the expense.

Dermatologist recommended to me after a cancer treatment. I did not get any sunburn the entire summer I used it. I didn't even have "farmer tan" on my chest. The product does not break me out as I am acne prone. There were times in the heat that I looked shiny but I don't use a face powder so that was to be expected. I'm 49 years old and a little shine does me some good :)

I use Retin-A and therefore need a high SPF moisturizer. I found this one too greasy for daily use, and I wouldn't want to sleep with it because of the SPF. Therefore, I threw it away!
