I had never heard of Cetaphil until I got a sample size with my last drugstore purchase. I am an avid user of Neutrogena Daily moisturizer, so I don't use Cetaphil as an all over moisturizer. The reason though as to why I like it, is because I found that it was really soothing to my acne prone skin. If I put it over inflamed/red spots the redness immediately starts fading. This was awesome because my acne is constantly bright red on my really fair skin and sometimes it can even be hard to cover with makeup, but using Cetaphil has solved that problem for me.

My eyes are still on fire.

Last night I sat on my couch withe Dr. Miracle's Healing Oil in my hair. I put the lotion on my face first so as not to contaminate my hands with the Oil and accidentally get it in my eyes. It was the first time I ever used Cetaphyl with SPF.

It wasn't long before my eyes began to burn and I felt stinging all around my eyes. I thought It must have been the Oil so I immediately rinsed my eyes. It still stung, but it was better. Before I went to bed I applied some of the lotion generously, being careful not to get it in my eyes. Again, my eyes began to sting so I shut them tight and jumped into bed. I figured it has to be my hair.

Today, I opened my eyes and they stung just a little. I figured rather than suffer all day long I would wash the Oil out and be done with it. As soon as the bathroom got a little steamy my eyes burned again. I tried to keep my eyes under water as long as I could after the Oil was all rinsed out. Every time I moved away from the water my eyes began to sting again. It was starting to get annoying. I was sure I was being extremely careful.

Once I was out of the shower and my hair in a towel my eyes felt great. No stinging. Must definitely be the Oil... I began to moisturize my face again, this time only using a very light amount to prime for my makeup. My eyes stung like a very nasty chemical got in them, but I didn't get anything in my eyes. The skin all around my eyes puffed a bit and it stung all the way down to my cheekbones.

It actually burned so bad I couldn't open my eyes at all. I've poked my eyes with mascara. Like literally poked a giant glob of mascara on my EYEBALL with the wand. It hurts and it's no joy, but never have my eyes burned like this with a moisturizer. Not even the garbage I'm actually allergic to. My husband had to lead me to the bathroom to wash my face.

STILL, to be quite sure, i tested it again on one cheek making sure i don't put it anywhere near my poor sore eyeballs. The eye on that cheek began to sting again and the skin began to get warm.

That is NOT cool at all. NOT COOL. What the hell did they test this stuff on? I use Cetaphyl because I'm allergic to nearly everything else on the market. It's the only cream I can use. I trusted it. It was the only product I actually trusted. I'm horribly upset because I'm sitting here wasting my time pounding away on a keyboard I can't see and squinting at a monitor that's now hurting my eyes so much I have to turn the lights down.

I don't understand how they could put a product like that on the market. I'd love to know how this was tested. (blog it!)

It's very light and goes on well underneath makeup. I'm oily and this doesn't break me out. I've gone through several bottles and will keep repurchase.

I am scent-sensitive and can't tolerate over-perfumed products, and I like the Cetaphil lotion, so I decided to give this a try. Unfortunately, although the product is not perfumed, it had a strong unpleasant scent. I threw it away and went back to Olay.

I switched to this after using clean and clear dual action moisturizer with salicylic acid for years. I stopped using products with salicylic acid because i'm pregnant. Since using this moisturizer, I have seen a noticable improvement in the softness and complextion of my face. It does feel a little bit greasy when I first put it on, but it does'nt bother me because it absorbs so quickly. I have dry skin and it doesn't leave it oily. I will definitely keep using this even after the pregnancy ends.

After 30 years in Boston, this is the first winter that the skin on my hands isn't extremely dry, Best of all, I'm not getting painful cracks near my fingernails. I use it every night and can truthfully say that there is nothing about this product that I dislike. I have never seen it in stores. I found it by reading helpful reviews on drugstore.com.

I have become a loyal customer of drugstore.com. I can only rave about their service and delivery. The website is easy to navigate and the selection of products is extensive. I'm not sure when Cetaphil changed the formula of this product. I have used it for years and it used to be great. Now, I cannot even open my eyes for 30 minutes after use (when the moisturizer isn't even near my eye) because they burn so badly. It is so greasy I have to blot my face hours after use because I can still feel its greasiness on my skin. DO NOT PURCHASE. It's not the amazing product it used to be.

Wife bought this for me after a trip to a dermatologist for dry skin. Use it daily. Easy and quick to use. Very good at controlling dry skin and windburn too. No fragrance or such. Good for guys.

I've used this product for two days and already regret buying it. I love other products form Cetaphil, but this one really disappointed me. After about 2 days of using this product, I am breaking out and I have not broken out in months! It also is too heavy and greasy for my skin. It makes my foundation look greasy and causes it to clump on my skin later in the day. My face feels greasy 24-7 now because of this product. I would only recommend this if you have extremely dry skin!

Was excited to try this moisturizer but it only made my face greasy looking. I applied only half a pump and tried using it for a few weeks but had to switch to something else. Cetaphil is dermatologist recommended and is "known" as a good brand but it didn't help out my skin at all. SKIP IT!
