I liked it. Think I understand why this is a good product, more costly, but a better value. Biggest complaints I've heard (or experienced) is that the Cetaphil liquid really didn't lather. Rub-rub-rub your face raw and the satisfaction that the suds are washing away the grime ain't happening. This foam wash only takes about 6 squirts for my face and neck and it's super-foamy. I don't aggravate my skin by over-rubbing and I think I use less with the foaming mechanism. Less time washing, and it makes a good base lather for a shave in the shower.

I'm happy.

I have only been using this product for a few days, and I will not continue to use it. I am disappointed with the overwhelming smell of this product. If you are sensitive to smells, steer clear, as this product gives me a headache. The smell stays around too.

The foam was nice as it spread easily requiring less product. It also allowed for a more gentle washing spending less time rubbing (irritating) your face and allows for you to gently glide your fingers over your skin and still remove make-up and oil. This product did not leave my skin feeling tight or feeling like a film was left on it, but it did dry my face out a little more than I would have liked to see.

Did not give the product enough time to see if it caused me to break out or to see any oil controlling effects.

3 stars because I think others could benefit from it and the concept is a great idea and the actual foam is nice. Just not the ingredients.

Comments about Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Foam Wash, 8 oz:

I have been using this for about 2 and half weeks now. Im verty impressed with how gental this product is, yet still has the power to clean the skin deeply. Im not use if it does help with oil control by its self cause I was also using the SPF oil control with it, but after clenaing my my face with it, it felt very clean even in my t-zone where I have my big issue with oil. Most of all why I loved this product was because after cleaning my face it didn't feel tight or ichy from driness. I will def continue to use this!

Comments about Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Foam Wash, 8 oz:

Worked to good standards, at a good value. I dont like the texture it gives with face and hand contact; not a squeaky clean feeling more like the feeling of rubbing the palm of your hands together. At the end of the day I feel better when using my natural cleansers. Currently I have discontinued use.

Comments about Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Foam Wash, 8 oz:

I decided to switch to this product about a month ago (after using Clean and Clear foaming face wash for several years). My face is a lot less oily and I break out a lot less than I had in the last several years.

The price might seem high, but the bottle looks like it'll go a long way (it's liquid that foams when you dispense it). I'm not a super big fan of the scent of the product (it's a bit too floral for my tastes) but I got used to it after about a week or so.

Comments about Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Foam Wash, 8 oz:

I have been using this cleanser only for a few days and I am very satisfied. I used some of the most expensive products for my oily acne prone skin for years and this is the one for me. I am waiting to recieve the moisturizer. I cleanse with this product, use stridex alcohol free acne control pad, a retinol cream at night only, and then apply moisturizer. Please make sure you use a a moisturizer with SPF 30 or higher. I can tell a big difference just from using this cleanser.

I use this at night; it removes all my makeup including masacra and leaves my skin incredibly clean and soft. I use Cetaphil gentle cleanser in the morning and Olay serums & moisturizer and I love the look of my skin.

Amazing. I had about 10 cleansers I was trying out to revamp my skin care. From that experience, I had a face full of little zits and an uneven rashy texture. This stuff cleared it almost overnight and I couldn't be happier. I hope it lasts. I hope Cetaphil keeps this in the line-up. I am waiting for the moisturizer to arrive so I can try that too.

Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Foam Wash

                 – Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Foam Wash has been clinically proven to wash away excess oil, impurities, and makeup. This foam wash is specially designed for acne-prone skin, but is gentle enough for anyone to use. It eliminates oil and impurities without stripping away skin cells or causing excess drying.

                Unique Ingredients

Most acne washes contain salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. These products are all outstanding oil fighters and have anti-bacterial properties as well, but they can also lead to excess drying of the skin. The trouble with dry skin is that it can actually encourage the body to produce the very oils that the acne wash is supposed to clear away, potentially increasing the chances of acne breakouts.

Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Foam is very different from other acne washes. It contains no salicylic acid and no benzoyl peroxide. It is strictly a face wash, designed to remove excess oil, but not all oil. This is important because some oil is essential for keeping skin supple and healthy. The main ingredient, a unique formulation of zinc, removes surface oil and reduces shine while leaving the oil layers that are necessary for skin health.

                Recommended Uses

Because Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Foam is formulated to avoid drying the skin, it can be used every day or even several times per day. It is designed to meet the needs of individuals with oily, acne-prone skin, but anyone can use this gentle product. Cetaphil DermaControl Oil Control Foam is one of the few face washes designed for acne-prone skin that can also be used by individuals with sensitive complexions.

                A Trusted Brand

Cetaphil has been a trusted, well-respected brand since its creation in 1981. The line was developed with the intention of creating simple and effective personal care products. The result is a selection of oil-free formulations that take a gentle approach to skin care. Cetaphil products can be used on any type of skin and are often recommended by dermatologists.
