This stuff is very good, BUT it has a con which for some may be a big one: it does not moisturize all that well. It does contain ceramides, but still it doesn't really moisturize very well in my opinion. This product is marketed as an oil-control moisturizer that is able to control shine, control oil, provide sun protection, and moisturize your skin all at the same time. It does all of that except the moisturizing bit, most likely due to the fact that it contains several ingredients that are meant to mattify your face in order to control shiny, oily skin. This doesn't really bother me though, because I just apply a light layer of moisturizer (cerave moisturizing lotion) before applying this, let that dry, then apply this and viola it immediately mattifies me, and keeps my skin looking normal all day. Yes, ALL DAY. I have oily acne prone skin that tends to get more and more shiny as the day progresses, well not anymore thanks to this. LOVE that it has spf 30 too. Also, no WHITE CAST!

I was excited when I found this product because I have had extremely good luck with Cetaphil products in general. I have a fair complexion, sensitive skin, combination skin and so I'm always battling irritation and some acne. Part of what excited me about this moisturizer was that it advertised oil control AND sunscreen. This seemed like a perfect combination to me. I like the idea of being able to put one product on my face, and knowing that its made by Cetaphil made me feel like I could trust it to not contain horrible ingredients that would cause my skin to freak out.

I've been using it for two weeks now and its wonderful! I use it on my face every morning, and I use it under makeup. It goes on smooth and absorbs quickly. There's a hint of sunscreen smell when I apply it but it fades away fast. My makeup (I use mineral makeup) goes on more smoothly when I use this product. It does help to control oil while moisturizing and it hasn't caused me any break outs or irritation.

Its winter time now and I live in the midwest so I don't know yet how well the sunscreen aspect of this will work, but I'm hopeful because everything else about this product has been great.

I haven't used ANY moisturizer in the past 8 years because I'm so scared that I'll break out even worse than what I have. I have oily, moderate acne prone skin and its had its fair share of ups and downs when it comes to products. After recently trying Clinique's acne system, I broke out with the worst cystic acne on my forehead and cheeks. So I went to the derm, and she recommended I use this along with the Oil Control foam wash, Duac and Tazorac (prescription treatments). My skin is healthier, acne free and the oil is under control. I have tried a lot of stuff for acne and oil control, but does BOTH and works the best!!

This is an incredible product. It solves all my problems with one solution. It absorbs easily, controls my oil and shine. It also protects my skin and moisturizes it. A+ -- I'll never use another product as long as Cetaphil keeps manufacturing it.

It's a non-greasy, light moisturizer with a good SPF that actually does keep my skin matte for longer than most other moisturizers. I will probably repurchase.

good for use on the days you need SPF-30. No greasy and absorbs quickly. A little pricey in the regular stores but the drug store price is a good one

I am really surprised by this wonderful product. I was hesitant to use it, because I don't like to use cheap stuff on my sensitive, rosacea prone skin...but I've now stopped using my dept. store moisturizer in favor of this. I'm not that oily, but in the summer I don't like the shiney look. This stuff doesn't irritate my skin, feels like nothing on, goes on smooth & it does help my make-up stay fresh. The added spf is great. I also use this on my neck & chest before I go out. Gives those high priced spf moisturizers from the dept. stores severe competition. I may try other Cetaphil products.

I have tried over 100 sunscreens in an attempt to find one that I can slap on in the morning and forget about 'til I wash it off. My sensitive, acne- and clog-prone skin would not allow me to do this; it was either a sunscreen would break me out, clog me up, or cause reactions that sometimes needed medical intervention. Not so with this! It goes on light as a feather, sinks in quickly, and hasn't caused any breakouts or reactions. The finish is a lovely satin matte, so my skin looks totally natural, not shiny and not dry. If you are expecting ANY product to hold back oil all day, you are setting yourself up for disappointment, but this sunscreen did keep me shine-free for about 5 hours with just a dusting of powder over it. Because it is not water-resistant, I would not recommend this for swimming/beach sunscreen, but for everyday wear, it is a winner! As with any chemical sunscreen, it is going to have a certain smell, but it fades immediately on me (if yours is lingering, contact the company, as it is probably a bad bottle). Works great under makeup (though be careful to check any SPF ingredients in your makeup; if it contains octinoxate, skip it while using this sunscreen, as it will deactivate the avobenzone) too. The price is a steal for a four ounce bottle! So glad to have found this!

I have oily skin so I thought this product would reduce the shine on my face but it did NOT do that what so ever. It is very much like sunscreen and it smells like it too. I even put loose powder after I apply this but 3 hours later my face looks greasy again. Such a waste of money!
