I bought this by mistake. I usually use the Cetaphil Normal-to-Oily version. My face is definitely oily, and this Gentle version just doesn't cut through the oil. it just sort of floats on top of it, and makes my skin feel gunky and gritty - definitely worse after I use it than before! The Normal-to-Oily version cleans the way I expect, yet I don't feel that it's too harsh, either. Obviously, I'm not in a position to judge how well it works for those with sensitive skin.

My skin is so sensitive I have to limit my contact with water. This product was reccommended by my rheumatologist and can be used directly on the skin and provides an awesome clean protective barrier. I see results immediately, calms skin down!

I love Cetaphil moisturizing cream and lotion, so I thought this cleanser might be good during the dry season. I usually only wear light makeup, those powdered foundations, so thought this gentle cleanser would suffice. I can see that it does not remove even the light makeup - always residue on cotton balls with toner. I used it for a week or so, then had a few breakouts, which is very rare for me. I think this product is supposed to be non-comedogenic, but it did clog my pores... maybe it needs a separate wash with something that foams, then what's the point of having mild cleanser? I wish it worked.

I have oily skin and a history of breaking out, despite using face wash. This stuff works really well - since I've been using it my skin has been looking really good. I love the no odor formula. Only con is that it tends to empty quickly - but can't complain with something that works.

I've always had this product but used it only when my skin wasn't breaking out. Not that it's better I use it twice a day and it leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth and is very gentle too.
I still use a scrub twice a week, but only to get dead skin off.
It doesn't foam much, which doesn't bother me at all, I like the silky texture it has.
no smell to speak of which I think is great too!

I have very sensitive skin and found that this is perfect for my face. I was using something more expensive but this fits the bill, no extra perfumes or dyes. Considering how much you actually need to use, it lasts a long time. I use this for my face, not the actual facial cleanser so maybe that is even better!

I really wanted to like this considering all the good reviews but sadly it did quite a number on my forehead and made it even drier. I guess my skin doesn't agree with it. At first I thought it was working cause my skin felt soft and then a couple hours later my forehead was irritated. And now my skin is a total mess! When I put the cleanser on my face, what I thought was soothing it was actually irritating it. I think I'll try Cerave now. I've heard it's better than Cetaphil.
