I have an allergy to perfume that suddenly became drastically bad. My scalp became so itchy I had myself checked out for lice. When I got a clean bill, I tried Head and Shoulders for the itchiness and broke out in hives all over my scalp.

Benedryl mixed with Cetaphil helped me out of that one and I have taken to using Cetaphil (sans Benedryl) every few days.

I alternate with Aveeno Skin Relief Body Wash because Cetaphil can be a little bit drying for my hair, and the Aveeno can be a little bit oily for my hair. I haven't had any luck finding shampoo that works for my hair. The organic, all natural shampoos have plants I'm allergic to and are on the pricy side.

I no longer use conditioner and my shoulder-length hair is doing all right with gentle brushing to spread natural oils along the length and the alternating of the cleansers. I can even blow dry my hair when I really need to, but I usually let it air dry.

It also works great as a body wash. (as it is intended to be for the skin) :) My skin is much happier since I have been using it and my son's eczema is better in control since he has started using it instead of soap or body wash.

I would never use anything else to wash my face. It is really very gentle and non-drying. Dermatologists love it.

I began taking anti-estrogen medication for breast cancer and my skin became very dry and would have red spots on it even after washing my face. I began using cetaphil gentle cleanser and moisturizing lotion about 2 months ago and my face cleared up and has not had red spots or felt dry since! Love it and would recommend it for anyone with dry skin and facing adult break-outs.

I thought I'd give this a try as I saw how it was good for sensitive skin. I started using facial cleansers around the age of 19. I used to have clear skin with occassional acne every few months. But after using various cleansers, toners and moisturizers I started to have acne problems. I would switch to neutrogena then to aveeno then to shiseido, back to aveeno and eventually to alpha hydroxy. Alpha Hydroxy worked for a while but I started to break out again. When I finally ran out of my Alpha Hydroxy I decided to try Cetaphil to see how I will like it. Since using it, I've had minimal breakouts and now the occasional zit when eating too much greasy food. Other than that I noticed that my skin is improving. My scars and blemishes from previous acnes are fading and my complexion has been much smoother since I started using this.
Even though I don't have sensitive skin, I heard that it would be better to use sensitive skin and fragrance free products. Since doing so, I notice a difference in my own skin. I don't break out anymore. Though I miss using nice ocean or flowery scents, I don't think I like them enough to forfeit the current condition of my skin.
I really recommend Cetaphil facial cleanser. It has done wonders for my skin.. I feel like it's the skin I had 7 years ago.

Over 20 years ago a rash developed on my face; the Dr. thought it was due to soap I was using. He recommended using Cetaphil on my face. This has been an outstanding gentle face and neck cleaner for me. After cleaning I follow-up with Lubriderm normal-to-dry skin, fragrance free lotion and that has been a winning combination to avoid irritation. It also makes my skin look much younger - and that's other people's unsolicited opinion, not something I dreamed up.

I've been using this for several years. So much better than soap. No more flaky dry winter skin. My teenage daughter even uses it now on her acne prone skin. The reason I don't give 5 stars is they don't make a larger refill size or a 16 oz. squeeze bottle that would be more environmentally friendly than the pump. i plan to try the soap and see if that works as well.

I have very sensitive skin and this is by far the best cleanser I have ever used. Rinses clean. Also can't beat the price.

I am a 14 year old, and everyone will get to that stage after the month or befor the month you turn 13 where you start getting acne from teenage hormones, and... STRESS. so i started useing some products but all they would do was make my skin dry and flaky, and then my mom told me to try cetaphil! (: ive been useing it for 4 months now , and my skin is great ! if you use it for a 5 month period you will see good results ! my skin has never felt better ! i <3 this product ! I don't know how this could be rated so high. It removes nothing from my skin, leaving a sticky, messy coating that won't rinse off at all. Had to use another soap to get it all off. Totally over rated.
