I have super dry winter skin and my regular facial moisturizer wasn't cutting it. A friend suggested I try this product on my face as it worked well for him.

ZING! Holy cow! It buuurrrrned! I immediately splashed water all over my face to rinse it off. It was terrible! So much for this product being made for "sensitive skin". I'm not sure if it's because I have a regular tweeze/wax regimen and my skin may be more sensitive, but I was shocked! But the person who suggested it is a "dude" who shaves daily so I don't understand what the difference would be?

I figured I would use up the bottle as a body lotion, but I found it to be greasy and just didn't absorb well. Not to mention, it doesn't smell too good.

This product didn't work for me. Yuck.

I actually bought this on accident, thinking it was the cleanser. However, I have found i quite like to use it on my face. My face is normally very oily but since winter approached it has become quite dry. My regular Olay moiturizer wasnt cutting it, it just wasnt thick enough. While the Cetaphil does do a good job moisturizing it can feel a little heavy on the face but that is about the only con. And i actually have the equate brand of this but theyre pretty much all the same.

I got this lotion after using it at a friend's house. I'd never used Cetaphil products before but was pleased with the simplicity of this moisturizer. Sometimes I prefer a fragrance-free, no-bells-and-whistles product and this is one of those products. It's nice and thick and applies evenly and smoothly. I don't have to use a lot of it to moisturize my whole body. Just 4 pumps after the shower and I'm done. The very subtle fragrance is gone in minutes which is great. It's great for dry winter skin, too.

Researched body lotions best for after shower use and Cetaphil kept coming up as highly recommended for the cost/use/effectiveness. Can't go wrong. Found a little goes a long way and absorbs into skin nicely. May need to reapply later in day for additional comfort feel.

This lotion is great! It has many things going for it: fragrance free (so it won't irritate skin, I have skin that is very sensitive to shaving and I can apply Cetaphil to my legs right after I get out of the shower to calm and moisturize without irritation, and it doesn't interfere with perfume you might wear since it has no scent), it's lightweight & absorbs quickly (so no feeling greasy and great as a summer lotion that still moisturizes but is light), it's moisturizing enough to use throughout winter and my skin is still well moisturized (I have normal to dry skin) and you don't have to use a lot of the product to feel that you've applied enough so the cost for me isn't a concern because a 16 oz. bottle lasts about 6 months for me. Also, I've seen this lotion recommended by dermatologists. While I was job hunting I went to dermatologists offices and almost all offices had a Cetaphil display for patients to try the product.

I used Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion for years and it gave my facial skin a soft, dewy, attractive look. However, I did realize, after a long time, that it actually irritated my eczema. For others, I know this is not true.
