I do not want any retinol, glycolic acids, anti-wrinkle ingredients, sunscreens, brightening agents or anything else. Just TRY and find one at the drugstore, it's impossible! What I use on my face is extremely powerful and I don't want to add anything on top of it. My skin is completely porcelain smooth, BUT it requires a LOT of maintenance, I actually break out really easily if I don't take care of it. I don't have sensitive skin, but I will break out with the wrong kind of lotion, usually after two or three days. I have been looking for just the perfect moisturizer for literally years! For a long long time I used the Mary Kay timewise moisturizer for dry skin, but it was never moisturizing enough, especially at night. I was at my boyfriend's house and when i got out of the shower there was a bottle of cetaphil there. I had a vague idea that it was a gentle facial moisturizer, so I put some on and absolutely loved it. The next day I went to use it again but then noticed that it said "perfect for use as an all-over body lotion." I was like, well, I better not use it on my face, and I used it all over my body instead and loved that. It feels very very similar to the Origins Precipitation - at a fraction of the cost. (I will admit Precipitation smells SO good it's worth the price to me.) I checked online and read a bunch of reviews and realized it IS used for the face. I LOVE IT! It is so moisturizing that I don't even need a separate eye cream. My nose tends to get quite oily, and this does not exacerbate it at all. During the day I mix just a dab with my sunscreen. I wear mineral makeup and it does not ball up the way it can over other creams with lots of moisture. If it doesn't break me out it will not break you out! It's so moisturizing, but doesn't make your face stick to your pillow and hair. It feels so good and I enjoy putting it on. Buy this! It's gentle enough I can use on my face when I don't have my facial lotion with me but heavy enough to keep my legs from being scaley. Best Uses Comments about Cetaphil Moisturizing Lotion, Fragrance Free, 16 fl oz: Bought this on the recommendation of our pediatrician to use on our baby's rashes, but I wish I had looked at the list of ingredients - nothing sounds natural, and after looking up some of the ingredients (Benzyl Alcohol) I questioning even my selection of pediatrician.
