My boyfriend turned me on to Chandrika, and it has become a favorite. It is really great for my face and back, since I still have a little acne/blackheads, although as some other reviewers noted it can be drying (which might be why it works so well for acne). It leaves your skin squeaky clean and I really think it makes my pores look much smaller.

I wouldn't recommend this soap for bathing since the fragrance might be irritating, and it isn't very moisturizing so I don't use it for shaving (cuz I just use soap and conditioner rather than shaving cream), but for oily areas, nothing beats this stuff!!!

I really like the smell of this soap - it's definitely the type of smell you either love or hate & it can be rather strong. I have noticed it can be a little drying though. I have my fiance use lotion with this after his shower and his skin is softer than ever. It also lasts a long time & he showers daily.

I found this soap to be very drying. I used it every day for about a week. It was ok at first, but after a few days my skin became very rough and I started to break out on my back and shoulders. It did, however, rinse off very well and did not leave an irritating residue like some liquid soaps have done. The smell is very strong, but this could be a good thing if you have a labor-intensive job or tend to sweat a lot.

I have been using this product for 50 years! LOl
I use it for hand soap at my sink...I am an artist and use it to clean my brushes..both facial and acrylic - and it does a fine job on my sable brushes. It is moisturizing for the sable and my hands.

I have very sensitive skin and when I accidentally get any cleaning supplies on my hands - they peel. This soap helps to stop that problem for me. My doctor has remarked that my hands are in fine shape now.

Use this soap - it is great. I swear by it!

I discovered it over 50 years ago on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City, in the shop that sold my incense from India. My mother even loved it and used it too.

It is not easy to find - Thank you Drugstore.com for carryting this - one of my very favorite products.

This is not some new age weird smelling soap, it's the absolute best
