It's a blue balm and to me, blue balms and tints give a bright smile and the illusion of whiter teeth. The tingle doesn't last but the moisturizing balm lasts a while. I just wish all Chapsticks were at least spf 15 or higher. But either way this still keeps chapping at bay and I can wear it year round co's cooling effect. This year I have gotten 2 and they are gone within 5-days. They go away faster and not as large. I recommend any one who gets cold sores to use Peppermint Chap Stick. Currently the medicated chapstick was my favorite but I feel this formula is much more creamy and lasts longer. Also the peppermint doesn't dry out my lips as much out as the medicated version, I think this is my new fave! It soothes and cools and smells great. Unfortunately, it is hard to find in regular stores. Lately as of this summer, I've only been able to find it online. Wonder why?
