This chapstick wasn't so great. It makes my lips soft..but doesn't last long. And every time I put it on, there's this weird taste..like a marker or chemical taste in my mouth. Yuck. I definitely wouldn't buy it again.

This is the only lip balm I will use on my lips! We have a sailboat and are out in all kinds of weather. Before I started using this, my lips were always sore, windburned, sunburned, etc. I saw this in the store, saw the spf 30 and grabbed it. That was several years ago and I've been a faithful user ever since! I won't even bother with anything without an spf now and this does the job well. I keep one in my purse, in my sailbag, next to the sofa and in the bathroom. I won't be without it!!

It's great for preventing sunburned lips, however shortly after applying it I noticed the weirdest taste in my mouth that wouldn't go away until I wiped it off.

This product is effective, lasting and has a pleasant taste/smell. It's the most effective remedy for my dry, chapped and wind burned lips. I've also tried Burt's Bees but unfortunately, it doesn't even work half as well.

I will highly recommend this product to those looking for a cheap and effective chapstick.

Everyone in my family uses Chapstick on a daily basis. It helps prevent chapped lips and sun or windburn. It's not greasy.

I am allergic to the sun and have problems with my lips swelling up and getting very sore for days after being exposed to the sun. If I apply this stuff a couple times a day, I can be out in the sun all day long-on the lake, boating on the river--wherever--and have no problems. That is proof that it blocks the sun well!

This is the only lip balm I will use until it becomes discontinued. Because I like it, and it works for me, it will surely be discontinued shortly. Therefore, I stock up on it, as reasonably as possible given the SPF expiration. ANY OTHER lip balm, including other flavors of Chapstick, are waxy, make one have white lips, have sick cherry flavor, or have virtually no SPF. I am so addicted to this Chapstick that I keep one at work, one in my backpack, one in my bathroom, and one in my jacket pocket; so there is always one handy. From experience, I know what it is like to live a day without this Chapstick. It's painful!

When ChapStick first introduced this product, the taste was in fact AWFUL! They have since greatly improved this aspect - it no longer has a foul taste. I am completely in favor of this product. If you tried it before and it tasted bad, you ought to give it a second chance. This is a great product.

Absolutely the best for women and men. It tastes fine to me, has a high SPF, is without any color, and has kept my lips moist and protected in cold northern winter weather, in scorching southern humid weather, in sun-baked cool mountain terrain, in hot dry desert areas, in over-air-conditioned stores and offices, and on skin-drying airplanes. I use it under and over lipstick, and instead of lipstick. I keep one in my purse, one in my backpack, one in my suitcase, one in my travel kit, one in my coat pocket, and one at my bedside. Nobody I've kissed has ever complained about it. It's terrific -- and again, that high SPF is important.

This ChapStick flavor has an awful taste. It reminds me of Lemon Pledge or Old English wood polish. After the initial taste wears off, it tastes like you just wiped sunscreen on your lips. I would rather use the Lip Moisturizer SPF 15.
