I bought this peeler on a whim several years ago because I was tired of the regular long peelers slipping and rusting. After the first use I knew it was a keeper and have since bought them as gifts for all my friends and family members. It is so comfortable to use, no sharp end that can accidentally poke the user, easy to clean (I don't have a dishwasher), the depth of peeler is controlled so there is no waste by peeling too deep. I highly recommend this peeler!
