I ordered this initially to keep at work, and I ended up taking it at my bf's house for when I sleep over. It was ok when using it at work...it was usually for touch ups - like I straightened my hair at home, then a steamy subway car made a little touch up necessary. I say ok, because though it was small and convenient to keep in a desk, it would take awhile for it to heat up and cool down, and you can only do tiny sections of hair at a time, otherwise it will pinch and snag your hair. As for using it in the morning on it's own, forget about it. I bought this because it was cheap, but I'm going to have to invest in a better product now anyway.

I really wanted a CHI flat iron but didn't want to spend the $$$ to get a full sized one. This little guy does the job just fine! The one issue (or hiccup) is that sometimes when you are trying to close the iron on to your hair, it gets stuck and won't close completely. You have to force it closed. I think it's an issue with the spring. But the actual iron is fantastic!
