I purchased this to use with my chi Hair dryer/ flat iron. I thought it would be great for the chase method of flat ironing. Unfortunately the bristles are to rough for my locks. Makes my hair frizzy it just doesn't do what a round brush can. And after I use it with a blow dryer, I saw a couple of bristles came off sticking to my hair and few on the ground!!! so I wish I would have bypassed this item.

I love this brush! It truly does what it's suppose to. I have never seen my hair so straight. I honestly can't find anything wrong with this brush yet and I have used it over 5 times. You can use it to dry your hair or straighten it so it's perfect. Very practical I have been telling all my friends about it!!

My hair is fine but I have a lot of it, and it is wavy and tends to frizz in the humidity.

Because I am consious of my hair health, I get a one-month keratin treatment instead of the three-month type, as the three-month type has a tendency to damage hair. As a result my hair still has some very slight wave to it.

Since I was uncomfortable using a flat iron (again concerns about damage), and because when I used a large diameter round brush it only increased the wave, I thought I would give this brush a try.

After having used this for some time now, I have finally mastered it. The hair must be done in thin sections, with the blow dryer blowing through the vents on the brush and heating up the metal outer skin. I did each section with a long, extended and patient pull. It is a bit time-consuming.

It did make my hair very straight, I did not have to use a flat iron.

It seems this brush will most likely not work well with very thick or curly hair, unless you use even smaller and thinner sections than I did.

If you have not had your hair keratin-treated, I would recommend using Paul Mitchell Super-Skinny Serum along with it.

I would have given it a five, but despite my best efforts, using it tends to still be a bit awkward when you have a blow dryer in one hand and the brush in the other. Otherwise, I am quite pleased with it.
