Recommended by my sister.. After I used hers, I knew it had to be one of my staple hair styling tools-- Fool-proof styling in record time!Creates managable, silky curls/waves super quickly, and w/ little effort. I have thick, coarse hair and this curler gets the job done in quicker than any other curler I've used. Helps alot w/ the frizz too, even when used on half damp hair (however, I do combine it w/ a smoothing/glossing serum afterwards) Favorite part: heats up in seconds, and it always goes through your hair smoothly; no tugs or pulls! Also, velcro strap to tie cord up is a very nice touch.Price on drugstore.com (offered at [$] when I got it) was great too! Only, downside is that you have to be careful w/ its heat. It'll go up to 360degrees so careful not to burn yourself.

I've used this product twice since I got it and loved the results both times. I have thick, straight hair of medium-long length and I really wanted Kim Kardashian-esque curls. I've never had a curler actually hold my curls for the whole day I'm at work but this one held up for over 12 hours! And I forgot to put in hairspray, too. It was very impressive.

I really like this it heats up super quick and with a little chi thermal spray last all day. I have relaxed hair and I use the automatic setting.

I purchased this item through Drugstore.com in May. Now, in November (6 months), the products spring has broken and left the hair curler unusable. After contacting the Chi company, they informed me that I could return the product for replacement, but it would cost me the postage to send it back, + an additional [$] [...]. I should have saved the money and bought another Conair Curling Iron for $16.00. They actually lasted longer for me.

Heats up fast, easy to use, produces great curls. Historically I use a 1" or 1.25"; however, I decided to try the 1.5" and really like it. I have long, thick hair and this iron makes bigger, more loose curls so it looks more natural than the smaller barrels.
