Loved, loved, loved this blow dryer. HOWEVER, the heating mechanism burnt out after only 24 months with very light use (1x/week). Take this into consideration before dropping all that money!

This hairdryer rocks! The diffuser works great with my fine curls. It is quiet, lightweight and dries faster than any other dryer I've tried.

I've had this dryer for 6 years and it has consistently done a great job at drying my fine, curly hair in less time and with less damage than any other drugstore model. Friends who have borrowed it are always surprised at how much shinier and smooth their hair is after using! I generally wash and straighten my hair every morning and this dryer definitely helps get the job done in less time and with great results.

I'm surprised to read that some other reviewers were having problems with performance such a short time after purchase! My college roommate even dropped it while drying her hair and cracked the top of the casing. I slapped some pretty tacky duct tape on the top and never had any problems! It comes with me on every trip and has taken its fair share of abuse in suitcases and overnight bags and it's still going strong.

Pros:
-makes hair shiny
-dries in less time than inexpensive models (less damage!)
-relatively quiet (again, in comparison to conair, revlon, etc)
-has a "cool shot" for sealing the cuticle
-removable screen filter which can be washed as needed

cons:
-can get a little heavy (especially when straightening a huge head full of curls!)
-It has 2 SPEED settings which are low HOT and high HOT. It would be nice if there was a lower heat setting between high and cool.

Overall, it's been great and I consider it well worth the price!

I liked the hairdryer, but was pretty disappointed when it died after about 2 years of use. I mean my mom had an old Conair that probably didn't cost more than $15 that lasted about 25 years! I paid [$] for this one and it didn't quite make it 24 months. That's terrible. It was great while it lasted, though!

I bought this dryer for my wife and at first she thought I paid too much, but quickly changed her mind and we bought our daughter one also. I am bald so I just love how quite it is. :)

Sadly, this hair dryer failed in 5 months of use (only every other day). It dried hair quickly, had low EMF's emission and seemed very satisfactory until it stopped working. It was used carefully by my daughter of 40 years old.
We are very disappointed due to the desire to have a product with low EMF's.

Bought this model in June. It died in October. Drugstore.com referred me to the manufacturer who refused to honor the warranty because drugstore.com is not an authorized retailer. I called drugstore.com and asked them to replace it. They tried to make me go away by citing their 30 day return policy. I got angry and the call was escalated to a supervisor. The supervisor agreed to replace it as a "one time courtesy." Buyer beware.

This dryer really is all it's cracked up to be. It does an amazing job of decreasing frizz. SO GLAD I spent the $$ on this.
