I can not find a comparable blow dryer, so I will go with this one again for the 3rd time. The reason I give 4 stars is simply because it never lasts for more than a year for me. I've had blow dryers in the past that have lasted years(but then they also give me a lot more frizz on top). My blow dryer is currently blowing cool when I turn it on, but I hold the cold shot button down, and it blows hot. (this is until my new one comes in!) I wish it would last longer than a year. Best Uses Comments about CHI Rocket Professional Hair Dryer #CHI0027, 1 ea: I purchased this blowdryer a little over 12 months ago from drugstore.com for around $160 with discounts. I used this blowdryer an average of 1-2 x week over this past year. I purchased this blowdryer via recommendations, as I have used the same less expensive pharmacy purchased blowdryer over the last 10 year. I will say I did not notice a major difference in speed, quality of my hair. I felt fairly neutral about the purchase and continued using it until this week when the blowdryer overheated and blew the fuse. I was fairly confident that drugstore.com would refund me or send me a replacement as the product was defective. I spoke to two representatives who informed me that drugstore only honors returns 30 days after purchase. Additionally, I learned about how Chi does not honor warranty on items purchased outside of dealers, which suprise is not Drugstore.com. My advice is to NOT PURCHASE THIS BLOWDRYER AND DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING OF VALUE FROM DRUGSTORE.COM. This company is obviously not concerned with keeping customers and they should only sell products that are cheap like they are. A [$] blowdryer should not fall into a 30 day return policy if its defective. This will be the last product I purchase from Drugstore.com. I had one about 4 years ago that eventually broke on me (after I dropped it) since then, I have used EVERYTHING else, including the T3 evolution. Nothing beats the CHI. I only use a hair dryer twice a week after washing my hair and this only lasted about 7-8 months before it blew out on me and smelled like burned rubber. I contacted Drugstore.com and I was told there is nothing they can do, mind you my 20.00 hair dryers I bought YEARS ago still work. I then contacted CHI and was told they do not warranty any of their products that are purchased online because they have nothing to do with these retailers and cant gaurantee they are even genuine. So Im out [$] all because I decided to not do my homework on the warranty. I hope this helps those who are thinking of throwing their money away. Service and delivery comments: I will never purchase from DRUGSTORE.COM again. I spent a lot of money on this product and when it blew out in less than a year I was told nothing can be done, not by drugstore.com or Chi. Very dissapointed with quality and service.
