My cats absolutely loved the grass! But it didn't come with enough seeds and they also didn't grow as quickly as the instructions say. But that's ok, they grew eventually.

And since the grass was a bit sparse, you could see the growing mix. So my curious kitties decided to start grabbing it with their paws and got the mix everywhere while pulling out the grass and seeds with it.

So I would definitely recommened this product, but I'd try to get extra seeds if it's possible.

This was described online as coming with enough seeds for 3 plantings. The instructions said to "use all the seeds". So it is not as described. Even planting all the seeds the grass never grew as thick as in the photo. Currently replacement seeds are not available on this website. I can't see paying another [$] for another one. When planting note the overhang of the pot. If not careful and seeds are planted under the overhang the cat grass will get caught and grow under the overhang. This is very frustrating for a determined kitty cat.Overall the cats like the grass.

My cat loves Chia grass! He goes crazy for it and my little dog eats it too! It is amazing how fast it grows. Each day and every few hours I go in and see it, it has grown more and more. It is easy to grow and very cool to watch grow. I would recommend you get extra seeds and buy another planter or just buy a small planter so that you can have one growing while the other is being eaten!

Our cats love this grass. It grew quickly and seems to stay alive for a while, even after rather constant chomping. We've had it since Christmas and our cats have enjoyed it for a few weeks now. We are back for refills, so we can be ready to keep it going for the cats.

This is a cute, nicely made planter, but they only include enough seeds for one planting. My cats ate through all of that in about a week. I need a source for replacement seeds. You might also consider getting two so you can always be growing more seeds, assuming you could find a source for bulk seeds.

I used this as a fun teaching activity for my 2 year old grandaughter. She had her own "garden" which we checked every day. She was able to make the connection of her planting the seeds and was excited when the first grass sprouts began to grow. Now she takes delight in offering the grass as a special treat to her cat, YoYo.
