My husband bought this as a special treat for our cat. It grew quickly and the planter is so cute. The cat doesn't like it, but our dogs go crazy for it. It seems to die very quickly, so you have to re-plant often.

Cute and grew well. My cat loves it and went crazy chowing on the grass! However, it is ceramic so is breakable. Plastic would be better so it could be put on a shelf for a cat (my cat loves to knock things off shelves). The grasses last only a few weeks. It would be nice if they added more seeds. The soil pack is too much for the container, but not enough for two. Regular potting soil works fine, though, if you need to do a refill.

My 2 cats loved it. I need to get more seeds and grow it at work and bring it home because they eat it faster then it grows.

My dogs love this in winter when the grass is covered with snow. I wish it came with more seeds and growing mix

I bought one of these and the tiny packet of seeds produced only a few scraggly sprigs of grass, which the cat ate most of in a day or two. The remaining blades died in a matter of a few days. I feel I wasted the money I paid for it.

5 Stars is what a product gets from me when it lives up to what it claims. I bought this as a Christmas present for our 14 year-old cat. The product is a cute planter bowl with Tweety and Sylvester on it. It comes with potting mix and seeds. If one follows the instructions, your cat will have grass to chew in less than a week! The seeds are wheat and oats. These grow fast and our cat likes them. I have just ordered a second one so we always have one ready (You do not want to have an angry cat in your house!). I would suggest you buy additional seeds or visit your local Feed and Grain store and get a cup of oats or wheat (barley would work as well!) Excellent product! drugstore.com is the place to buy it!!!
