I was looking for a good lip balm that was all natural and when I saw the funky name, my curiosity got the best of me and I just had to try it. This lip balm is very effective, however I could not get over the bad taste of it. My husband even complained about the taste every time he kissed me. Also, there seems to be an ingredient in it that my body didn't agree with. Every time I used it, something in it would irritate my asthma and cause me to cough within seconds of applying it. I switched to Aubrey Organics Lip Balm and absolutely love it.

I really like the name and it got good reviews, so I decided to try it (plus, it was buy one, get one free). I'm disappointed to say that I won't be buying it again. It isn't horrible, but it could be much better. It doesn't last very long (and I don't lick my lips). It might just be a preference thing; I like lip balms that are the perfect balance of being rich and creamy without being too thick, so I like my lips to be "slippery" for a long time. It could also be a climate thing; I live in Denver so the air is very dry up here. My lips get dry much quicker with this lip balm than with others. It also reminds me of cough drops; I'm not fond of the smell, though it's not overpowering. I will finish out both tubes but I won't be buying it again. :(

I got a couple of these for my fiance who was always stealing chapsticks out of my purse, and we both love it. It has a fresh, clean smell that works for both men and women, and the avocado oil is super hydrating. Leaves lips smooth and soft.

I tried this lip balm mainly because I thought the name was hilarious. Unfortunately, it lives up to its name because it tastes aweful! It was so bitter tasting & had an unpleasant, medicinal smell that I could not even keep it on my lips!

Comments about Chicken Poop Free Range Chicken Poop Lip Balm, 1 ea:

I get very dry lips and have a hard time finding something that is effective for me. I saw this stuff and decided "why not?". I could always add it to the pile of other products that don't work....not the case here! I was so pleased with how smoothly it went on and how soft and smooth my lips felt with it on. The reviews about how it smells and tastes made me a little apprehensive to try it but looking at the ingredients list I couldn't figure out what could be so offensive. So it has a pretty strong lavender smell (which I personally love but some may not associate with a lip balm) and it does taste of lavender which I was aware of (but not offended by) for a little while after I first put it on but then didn't notice it. If you are looking for something that is all natural and actually works, give this a try!

I always, always, always have a Chicken Poop handy. If not, the world may very well be coming to an end. I used to be a Burt's Bee's fanatic and ordered this one time, on a whim, and haven't looked back! With other lip balms it seems that my lips are drier after the balm wears off a bit than they were before applying. With Chicken Poop, my lips feel moist and happy all day!

If you want something that will make you stop licking your lips, here you go! It's called chicken poop because the inventor's grandfather used to say to put chicken poop on her lips to stop licking them, so this product does do that. The taste and smell are very herby, not very tasty

The heating and cooling systems where I work are not consistent. Not only does that inconsistency effect both sides of the building, it can often times effect each floor and office space. This lip balm stays on my desk. Not because I have to constantly reapply it like many of it's predecessors, but because I don't want to have to search for it when I do need it. It works great with lipsticks and lip gloss too.

I like a lip balm that is creamy, stays on, & doesn't smell or taste like a fruit salad. This is lovely! And, it makes a great gag gift for my farmer friends. The only down is that there is no spf protection. Otherwise, terrific clean ingredients. Love it.

Tastes like orange/lavendar. Best lip balm I've ever used. It isn't thick like vaseline but lasts a long time. Works well under lipstick as well.
