This lip balm is very effective, however I could not get over the bad taste of it. My husband even complained about the taste every time he kissed me. Also, there seems to be an ingredient in it that my body didn't agree with. Every time I used it, something in it would irritate my asthma and cause me to cough within seconds of applying it. I'm disappointed to say that I won't be buying it again. It isn't horrible, but it could be much better. It doesn't last very long (and I don't lick my lips). It might just be a preference thing; I like lip balms that are the perfect balance of being rich and creamy without being too thick, so I like my lips to be "slippery" for a long time. It could also be a climate thing; I live in Denver so the air is very dry up here. My lips get dry much quicker with this lip balm than with others. It also reminds me of cough drops; I'm not fond of the smell, though it's not overpowering. I do love the smooth application of the balm, the ingredients and the scent. Would prefer an orange mint or vanilla taste - a little less lavender. Pros

Research shows that petrolatum is a major offender. One brand I thought would be great was Crabtree & Evelyn, but my lips got more sore, cracked and chapped. Petrolatum was low on the list of ingredients, but what the heck is all the other stuff? One looked like a skin product used to exfoliate. No wonder my lips were peeling so badly & people asked what was wrong (I asked myself the same question). Other brands that you'd think you could count on also had petrolatum, many had it as the main ingredient! Pros

It works on my lips too. :) The only thing is that the bottle it is using does not work very well. It's like after I twist to make the lip balm "rise" higher and use it, I cannot get it back. I hope the person who is producing them can see it. I mean, it has nothing to do with the real "product," but a reason strong enough for me not to buy it next time. ;p Pros
