This lip balm is very effective, however I could not get over the bad taste of it. My husband even complained about the taste every time he kissed me. Also, there seems to be an ingredient in it that my body didn't agree with. Every time I used it, something in it would irritate my asthma and cause me to cough within seconds of applying it. I'm disappointed to say that I won't be buying it again. It isn't horrible, but it could be much better. It doesn't last very long (and I don't lick my lips). It might just be a preference thing; I like lip balms that are the perfect balance of being rich and creamy without being too thick, so I like my lips to be "slippery" for a long time. It could also be a climate thing; I live in Denver so the air is very dry up here. My lips get dry much quicker with this lip balm than with others. It also reminds me of cough drops; I'm not fond of the smell, though it's not overpowering. Unfortunately, the lavender scent/flavor is so overwhelming I can't get past it. Otherwise, the Poop goes on nicely and seems to be effective. If they have any variations on the product I would probably try them, but the one I received is, for me, unusable. Pros

I'm allergic to the sunscreen ingredient in chapsticks--it makes my lips look stung and inflamed, but it's so difficult to find a lip balm without SPF now. I hate the sticky feeling of mineral oil/petrolatum, which are the main ingredients in most other lip balms as well. So i have lips that are easily irritated yet constantly chapped. Pros

I had no idea how good this product actually was, or how bent out of shape I would get when I wasn't able to find it anywhere! The combination of ingredients feel wonderful on my dry, cracked lips. I have many moods and go back & forth between several other lip balms, however when I need the dryness and cracked skin to go away I *always* reach for the Poop! GREAT STUFF!
