This lip balm is very effective, however I could not get over the bad taste of it. My husband even complained about the taste every time he kissed me. Also, there seems to be an ingredient in it that my body didn't agree with. Every time I used it, something in it would irritate my asthma and cause me to cough within seconds of applying it. I'm disappointed to say that I won't be buying it again. It isn't horrible, but it could be much better. It doesn't last very long (and I don't lick my lips). It might just be a preference thing; I like lip balms that are the perfect balance of being rich and creamy without being too thick, so I like my lips to be "slippery" for a long time. It could also be a climate thing; I live in Denver so the air is very dry up here. My lips get dry much quicker with this lip balm than with others. It also reminds me of cough drops; I'm not fond of the smell, though it's not overpowering. I had a blast telling them about where the name came from, and I feel great knowing this is an all natural product. Smell nice, feels great going on...we haven't tried it on cold sore, but we don't really have that problem. I wish you carried Good Gravy...I would love to try that product too. Pros

It has a very nice smell to it (orange & lavender are the noticeable smells) and there's no nasty stuff in it. First time I saw it in a store I said "who would buy lip balm named Chicken Poop?" then within a minute was irresistibly putting it in my basket. I also gave the poop to my bridesmaids as part of their gift and they all loved it! I wanted to try it myself. I get wind burned and sunburned lips riding a motorcycle and being outside. This works great. My lips were very chapped and hurting yesterday and I opened my Chicken Poop and used it last night and this morning they are healed! I am going to use it daily several times and keep using it. Great stuff. Thanks. It does have a lavender smell so if you don't like lavender don't get it. Pros

One for myself, and I loved it. Gave one to a friend for a joke, she called and said it was phenomenal, then my daughter was in desperate need of something for her cold sore and decided to try it since she couldn't find anything else, and she loved it, too!
