Since the positive reviews outweigh the negative reviews, I thought I would give the Chillow a try. Knowing that I'm hot natured, I took into consideration what others said regarding the length of time the Chillow will stay cool and took advantage of the by one get one half price and bought a second one to trade off with in the middle of the night when the first one would lose effectiveness. Neither stayed cool more than one hour tops. Also these have a horrible smell to them. I'm sensitive and headache prone to certain smells, this being one of them. In the trash these went; what a waste of money.

Delivery was somewhat prompt.

One Chillow had been opened which makes me wonder about the return policy stating items must be returned unopened....made me wonder who else's head may have rested on it.

Did not use Customer Service; what would be the point after rading the return policies?

I had a very severe allergic reaction to the Chillow. Sever rash, itching all over my body.

I have bought several of these and will continue to use but after a year or two leaks develop and I have to buy another. Wish either that they were made better or that there is a money-back guarantee!

It seems people have a love/hate relationship with the Chillow. I really think it's up to the individual on how well it will work. If your body temp is normally very high, it will obviously take more to cool you. If you're just a little bit hot, you will cool down quicker. That being said, I bought this when I was pregnant and in my 3rd trimester. Trying to sleep is impossible once you get really big and being hot didn't help. The Chillow wasn't a miracle worker but it helped cool me long enough to fall asleep. When I woke in the middle of the night, I'd just throw it on the floor. My husband used it for awhile too and it was just more of a hassle for him because it moved around and would get kinda bunched up and it was uncomfortable. Bottom line: it's worth a try. If you're really desperate, I don't think [$] is too high to see how it works for you.

To put it very simply this pillow did not work for me. It was cool, but the coolness was gone in a matter of minutes. It was a waste of money and I threw it away.

I love it. I bought the smaller one and liked it so much I bought a larger one for myself and one for my son.

The Chillow works best if you don't use it all night, or only as needed. When I slept in one time, it heated up as the heat came on, and became uncomfortable. The next time I slept in, I used it only after the heat came on, rather than all night. In that case, it cooled me down and I was able to sleep longer.
I recently started hearing about competing products, and I'm not sure this is the best. That said, this is a pretty cool product.

The shipping was very fast and I haven't used but heard good things about it so my friend had been wanting one so bought her one and my other friend one. The price was great here.
