I bought the Chillow for relief of hot flashes and, while it is initially cool, that's about the only good thing I can say about it. The fiber mat shifts and is lumpy inside the plastic and the whole Chillow is continually in a heap at the bottom of my pillow case. It isn't cool at other times during the night, so it doesn't help when I wake up hot at 2 a.m.. I would not recommend this product.

I received my chillow for Mother's day and I love it! My ankles tend to swell during the day and when I use the chillow at night it cools and helps bring the swelling down. Wish I had known about the chillow sooner.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the Chillow works even better than I had anticipated! Just fill it with water and wait for it to cool. However, the cover does have a tendency to twist easily. Overall, I would definitely recommend it! I was also surprised at how quickly I received my Chillow from Drugstore.com.

I am a physcian assistant with hot flashes.This product is the best thing I have found short of hormone replacement therapy, which is not recommended for most women, I recommend it to all my patients suffering for hot flashes that interfere with sleep. My husband did not like his because he found it hard, but I find this a small price to pay for cool relief. Mine eventually sprung a leak, but I will reorder another. Hopefully the company improved the seams.

We've had 4 Chillows in 3 1/2 years. I think that's great for 3 1/2 years of better sleep. My advice is to use a pillowcase that fits snugly so the chillow doesn't slide around. Pillowcases can be sewn along the long edge to take in the seam to make them snugger. Chillow number five coming up. We haven't had any real problems with them. We fill them with distilled water, once. Ours never mold or mildew. We don't have problems with bunching of the inner foam layer. We never store them in a folded position. I've fixed a couple of small leaks with a bit of silicone glue and a small square of plastic packaging tape. We have given several away to friends since we discovered them.

I LOVE this item!!! I bought it not thinking it would really work as well as it does. I have high blood pressure, and have frequent headaches and insomnia. I have actually stopped using sleeping medicine (That I used daily for over 1 year) since using the chillow.
I am asleep instantly! A few other people have said it warms up and they find another spot . . . I have never had that happen. Perhaps I fall asleep too quickly. I seriously recommend this item to every woman out there who loves to be cool to sleep well. I have told everyone about my chillow!!! Buy it, you'll love it!!! :)

I really like this product. It feels nice to lay on the cool area. The area warms up quickly, but if you move your head to another cool spot, the previous warm spot cools down quickly.

I LOVE my chillow pillows!
Putting in the fridge and being able to put it on my back for backaches works every time!
I buy two, so when those hot flashes hit there can be one under my head and one laying on my torso or under my feet, and presto--I didn't have to turn on the A/C to cool off.

I've had Chillow for the last few years. It has helped both with night sweats when I've had that problem, and also cooled my lower back and neck when I've had neck pain. I don't know what I did before I heard about this product on Oprah. The only problem is that I've had to replace it twice. This isn't because of the Chillow per se, but because I haven't been careful enough to keep my cats away from it. I now place inside my pillow in lieu of on top of it, and no more cats kneading on it!
