It slides all over the place & I did put a pillowcase over it & on top of my pillow....to no avail. I don't like sleeping on vinyl either. By morning, it was all "bunched up" terrably. I followed instructions for bunching & it still stayed bunched up. I redid it again & again..to no avail. No matter what I do, the stuff in it stays bunched. It definitely stays cool, but I also find that I wake up in the middle of the night sweating because it has absorbed too much heat. I think it is a great concept, but the liner should be attached to cover so that it doesn't bunch so much. It is very hard to straighten out. I think it will work well for short periods of time and I plan to use it the next time I get a migraine. I think it will really help! The cancer drugs cause hot flashes and the chillow is the only way I can stay asleep at night. I do think it should be sold with a pillow so it does not slip around in my pillow throughout the night. No leaks yet. I also think they should make one that is hand held so we women can carry it with us and to keep at work. Thank you. Keep improving on this idea. I used to be a constant pillow flipper and now I sleep through the night. Its helped me with my hot flashes and headaches. I have been using mine for over a year, with no leaks or mold or odor. When the Chillow gets wrinkled, I simply open the plug, flatten it out and replug it. No big deal. I also used a watering can with a thin spout to fill it (I think a sports bottle would probably work well, too). Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: I purchased this product for my husband, who is extremely hot-natured, as a gift. HE LOVES IT! He has had it since April and there's been no problem with leaks, mold, mildew and he sleeps very rough. Yes, you have to "knead" it and work it back into position after sleeping on it, but it's not difficult whatsoever. He is very pleased and tells everyone about it. Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: This is a good product. It really does help me keep a cool head while I sleep. To squeeze the air out, I've discovered a rolling pin is handy to use. I just lay the Chillow on my pillow and lay an empty pillowcase on top of it, and I'm cool all night. If I try to sleep longer than 7 hours, however, I've found it has done such a good job of absorbing the heat, that I've used up all the cool. I'm going to order another one to have a spare. Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: I bought this product over a year ago, for my husband who is a VERY hot sleeper, even in the winter. He LOVES it! The only thing that prevents giving it 5 stars is the bunching issue others have mentioned. I saw some say it warmed mid-night for them; however my husband has been known to change pillows because its actually TOO cold, sometimes. I think this is an excellent product. Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: Yes, towards the end of the night my Chillow gets warm and I have to move it around to find a "cooler" spot. And yes, after 2 years, it sprung a leak. But in spite of this, I just ordered my second Chillow and I feel it has been a godsend for the last two summers. The Chillow has saved my sanity, and allowed me to sleep through hot flashes and hot summer nights. For something that costs so little, it is just terrific. Also it tends to slip between my headboard and the mattress. However, it stays cool enough to get me to sleep. It is warm in the morning, but no warmer than a regular pillow. I actually bought 3 of these because most of the reviews were very high. What a waste of money !!! They felt like warm and clammy plastic - even through my pillowcase. In fact, my pillowcase was noticably cooler than the chillow. I still have one in it's original box (my husband and I tried the other 2) and I am planning on donating it to a golf tournament.
