This is a great product - really nothing like it out there so really you can't go wrong. I bought it for my boyfriend who is constantly 100 degrees and it's his favorite. It's easy to get the air out, just lay it flat and put a towel underneath for the water. After you plug it up, we never had an issue with leaking. It's a little hard for my taste, but my boyfriend doesn't seem to mind and it DOES stay cool (not COLD) throughout the night.

This product is utterly useless. It's impossible to get all the air out of it when filling it with water and water spills all over the place when attempting to follow the instructions. It's uncomfortable and nothing you'd want to rest your head on once it is filled with water -- and it really didn't stay cool as long as advertised.

After seeing this product on a morning talk show and suffering from hot flashes, I purchased one from Walgreens. It has been wonderful. I take it everywhere I go. I would urge anyone with hotflashes to purchase one as soon as possible. You will LOVE it!

The Chillow sucks! I had it 1 week and the foam/sponge folded up and now I can't get it to flatten out. What a waste of money!

I have had a Chillow for 2 years and it only has now started leaking because my pet bird bit a hole in it! I'm buying another one because it does actually work!!! Those who have said the Chillow is too heavy, is hard, doesn't stay cool, moves around too much, or sprung a leak have most likely over-filled theirs (the package clearly states to NOT overfill). With too much water it does become less effective. If you basically wet the core, IT DOES A GREAT JOB OF KEEPING COOL ALL NIGHT!
For the price you don't have a lot to loose if you can't sleep in the heat or get night sweats!

Utterly useless -- soon to be on way to trash or Goodwill. Cooling is quite inadequate, and the product bunches up as one turns to form a heavy blob during the night. Far better simply to wrap an ice bag between towels and save one's money. Good concept marketed far too soon.

The Chillow is very effective with limitations. We bought two about 6 weeks ago and neither one has leaked. Yes, they are a bit heavy, and yes, the relief they provide is temporary. So -- I simply place mine on a vacant spot on the bed and retrieve it when I get hot. When it is no longer functional, I move it away. Sure beats nothing!

When I first purchased the Chillow it was great; however, before long, it was slipping down in the pillowcase and had sprung a leak. It is made of very poor vinyl, especially at the seams. It is a great idea, but needs improved construction. I found it useless to put it in the refrigerator to cool because it got hot quicker. I found it stayed cool longer just outside the pillowcase under the ceiling fan. I refuse to buy another one until they fix the poor construction and leak problems. If this is done, I would probably buy two or three. Good concept, poor construction of product!

It is amazing how this product works. It really feels so cool; it's perfect on a pillow at night or any day when it's really hot and humid.

Stupid me! I decided to read reviews after Chillow sprung a leak. Like so many other users of the pillow, I found the pillow to be a great concept, yet needs improvement. The pillow is too heavy, especially to one with carpal tunnel. The plastic is to thin, sprung leak within one month. If the manufacturer could make a more durable product addressing these complaints, I would purchase one for everyone I know with night sweats.
