The best product I've bought! Even with the airconditioning on my dog gets overheated. I put the chillo in a pillowcase and Shannon now realizes how quickly it cools her down. Whenever she gets to hot she just lies down on her chillo.Wonderful to see her so comfortable when it's hot. Fantastic product!

I've used these for years and they are the only solution to getting too hot while sleeping that I've been able to find - and afford. I have two and I usually will wake up in the middle of the night and change them out. It's amazing how warm my head makes the Chillow in 4 or 5 hours. However, I sleep MUCH better when using one. It's a great low-tech solution!

Bad aspects: the plastic becomes brittle after about a year or so. And it would be nice to have a one-way valve on the plug so that air could be expelled easily. Getting all the excess air out of the Chillow makes it work better. The plastic sometimes smells - not always, though. Washing and use help with that.

I travel with my Chillow, even though it is heavy when loaded with water. I could empty it out for travel, but I usually don't. I have owned about 10 chillows over the years and have only had one leak. All the rest merely became too brittle.

Night hot flashes are so uncomfortable but by using this pillow I quickly feel comfort and it seems to decreases the extent of head perspiration during the hot flashes. I always wake up when I start feeling a hot flash coming on and then turn the pillow until I feel a cool spot and immediately feel an "ahhh" sense of relief. I put it in a pillow case and lay it on top of my regular pillow. Would recommend to anyone experiencing night sweats due to menapause.

My son loves his birthday Chillow. He now has to set his alarm in the morning because he sleeps so well that he actually oversleeps. It really stays cool even with my toasty son and was really easy to fill and prepare. If I could change one thing I'd make it a little bigger, though, because it does tend to slide to the bottom of his pillowcase. Overall it's great!

I bought this Chillow for relief of nighttime hot flashes. One night of trying to sleep with it and I found out that it is too cool to promote falling asleep. I put in in my pillowcase, on top of my pillow as the instructions suggest. Now I have tried putting it under my pillow, still feel some coolness, somewhat helpful upon waking in the night with a hot flash, but no way does it promote a full night's sleep without waking due to hot flashes, as some of the reviews suggested.

I have been using The Chillow for many years now and I wont go to sleep without it!!! It used to take me a long time to fall asleep but since using the Chillow I fall asleep VERY quickly. I also seem to sleep through the night and not wake up with the dreaded sweats. I usually keep mine in the fridge when not in use so when I go to bed its extra cool!!!
The only thing I wish is that they made the outer material more puncture/tear resistant. I have to buy another almost every year.

My 12-yr old son has sensory integration dysfunction, and he gets extremely hot at night. I've been buying him Chillows since he was 6 years old, and I always keep a backup one in the closet. They usually last a year or two at least. He used to take forever to go to sleep because he was constantly flipping his pillow because his body heat would make it too hot. Now he goes right to sleep. We take it with us on vacations as well!

Cool little product. Keeps your head or other body parts cool. Be advised that you have to fill it with water so make sure the stopper is plugged in securely and that you don't accidentally puncture it. You'll also have to 'activate it' which takes several hours before first use.

When the Chillow was prepared, I slipped it inside the pillowcase of my pillow. It was extremely comfortable to me and provided an excellent night of rest. During the night, each time I turned over, I could feel relief. I highly recommend this product to anyone who has the need for a fan at night, or anyone suffering from menopause or night sweats.
