It slides all over the place & I did put a pillowcase over it & on top of my pillow....to no avail. I don't like sleeping on vinyl either. By morning, it was all "bunched up" terrably. I followed instructions for bunching & it still stayed bunched up. I redid it again & again..to no avail. No matter what I do, the stuff in it stays bunched. It really does give you a cold pillow most of the night. I've been amazed at this unique use of the laws of thermo-dynamics.

I wouldn't live without one! I do not use a pillowcase over it because it is cooler without one. The reason I've purchased three since I discovered it is that pierced earings have a way of poking holes iin the plastic! I recommend it to all my friends.
