I use this every night! Having bought the Chillo Plus the last purchase, and hated it- mine didn't stay cool, I decided to try the Chillo again ( had 2 of those before). The first night I used the Chillo, I knew that it was great. It stayed cool much longer. I have only replaced them when they start to leak.

We use them every night. My room mate even puts his in the fridge every night. Mine works fine as cold as it is. We like them a lot, just wish they did not bunch up inside the pillow case.

Nice to get comfortable without running the AC on full blast on those hot humid days.. I do not like to have the AC blowing on my all night. I put it in a bag in the fridge for 15 minutes before use sometimes. If I leave it in the fridge all day, it is a bit too cold at first...but I would rather have it be a bit too cold for a little while rather than too warm and uncomfortable for sleeping. Love it, but wish it would be cool without sticking it in the fridge.

This has been my experience....
I have had problems with burning feet for 20 years and one of the products I've come to use on a regular basis, esp at night, is the Chillow Pillow . It can be used anytime anywhere as it cools on its own. The cooling isn't cold enough to do nerve damage. It doesn't have to be refrigerated or frozen. I now have an additional small one that can be carried around easily. There are no side effects that I'm aware of.
Great for cooling off from hot flashes, also.

We've used the chillow and the chillowplus. We actually like the original better and it's less expensive. One lasts about a year, with daily use, then needs replaced because the seams split or it gets a hole. Husband and son are both very hot sleepers and sleep much better with the cool pillow.

The chillow is very heavy after you have filled it with water and slide it under the pillow case on your own pillow. It does stay cool, but the heaviness is difficult to deal with. Not really what I expected. I thought it was going to be a regular pillow that stayed cool. It also has a strong plastic odor to it. I have had it two weeks and can still smell the plastic. It should be covered it self.
