It slides all over the place & I did put a pillowcase over it & on top of my pillow....to no avail. I don't like sleeping on vinyl either. By morning, it was all "bunched up" terrably. I followed instructions for bunching & it still stayed bunched up. I redid it again & again..to no avail. No matter what I do, the stuff in it stays bunched. Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: I have been using a Chillow for years, but recently my 11 year old son starting having sleeping problems because he turned his pillow over several times during the night, looking for a cool spot. I knew right away that he needed his own Chillow, so got him one immediately! It has made a big difference for him... I know that I have a hard time sleeping without mine whenever I've traveled from home, so I am a little worried about getting him "hooked" too, but let's face it, we're sleeping at home most of the time, so it's okay. It would be even more perfect if they could figure out a way to make a travel version of this too, but with the current TSA rules and carry-on luggage, I cannot ever take mine with me. Nonetheless, we love Chillows at our house!!!

Best Uses Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: I REALLY wanted this to work. Unfortunately it's like every other product on the market...too good to be true. After fours hours of falling asleep, i woke up to a blazing inferno. It had absorbed and retained every bit of heat from my head just like every other pillow. I used it every night for a week and the same thing happened. It would also slide around all over the place whether it was in the pillowcase of not. I followed the intructions to a T and it simply doesn't work. They should change the name to "Hottest Pillow Conceivable"

While the chillow did make the place he laid on the pillow cooler, it was too stiff and plastic-y for him to be comfortable on it. He tried for several nights hoping to get used to it, but to no avail. Pros Cons
Best Uses Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: I'm not an overly hot person yet the Chillow doesn't stay cold for very long inside my pillowcase. It's never lasted till morning. It's a bit heavy and tends to bunch up easily. Once this happens, it's difficult to flatten it back out.

Than I found the Chillow Pillow, and my problems have been solved! No more hot afternoons or nights, and no sweating through my clothes/gown to my sheets! Thank you Chillow!!!

Best Uses Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: I'd heard great things about the Chillow from friends also having hot flashes. It requires a 4-hour "priming" to activate, so I had to wait for a weekend to set it up. In trying to sleep on it I found it cool and pleasant at first, but I still had to keep moving around the pillow to stay on a cool spot, as it warmed up. It also feels annoyingly plasticky under the pillowcase. For now I keep it next to me at night and when I begin to feel warm I lay an arm across it, which helps. So it's not a bust, but not really a miracle, either.
