It slides all over the place & I did put a pillowcase over it & on top of my pillow....to no avail. I don't like sleeping on vinyl either. By morning, it was all "bunched up" terrably. I followed instructions for bunching & it still stayed bunched up. I redid it again & again..to no avail. No matter what I do, the stuff in it stays bunched. Best Uses Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: I'd heard great things about the Chillow from friends also having hot flashes. It requires a 4-hour "priming" to activate, so I had to wait for a weekend to set it up. In trying to sleep on it I found it cool and pleasant at first, but I still had to keep moving around the pillow to stay on a cool spot, as it warmed up. It also feels annoyingly plasticky under the pillowcase. For now I keep it next to me at night and when I begin to feel warm I lay an arm across it, which helps. So it's not a bust, but not really a miracle, either.

Its some kind of chemical smell, had to go to Dr w/bronchitus due to the smell. Cant be in same room with them. will have to throw away, [...]will notify better business. curious about the odor on product, will try to find out more on this also. Pros

Menopause makes me warmer than I'd like sometimes. Having this Chillow is perfect for all those problems. I have it inside my pillowcase, on top of my pillow. Chillows ROCK!

Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: Some people talk about it getting hot. If you're laying right on the vinyl cover it would get warm. It states right on the box that you MUST use with a pillow case. I keep a chillow on my sofa. As soon as I feel a hot flash coming on, I put it on my neck and around the back of my head. My hot flash is gone in half the normal time. It cools down my whole body, even though I've just placed it on my neck and head. This has been a godsend.

Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: I LOVE My Chillow !!!!!! My husband got it for me after he saw it on a show. I am soooo happy that he did because I sleep SO much better. I stay much cooler it really helps with my hot flashes. I will always make sure I have one 4ever :)

Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: My hot flashes have faded a bit, but I still get hot. I just grab the chillow from beside my bed and I have instant relief. I keep two so that I can switch out in the middle of the night. It is astounding how hot the chillow gets from the heat of your head. I've used the chillow about 5 years now and I've had about six of them, so I guess they last about 18 mos in daily use (I started using 2 at a time about 2 years ago. I wish they lasted longer and I wish they had a oneway valve to bleed out the air. Other than that, it's a really good low tech solution to a problem - not terribly expensive, but has certainly gone up in price over the few years! I really recommend it.

Comments about Chillow Comfort Device, 1 ea: Great help for night sweats due to FibroMialgia. Provides soothing cooling without the need to refrigerate of freeze. Also works for aches and pains. I use it every night!
