I really, really wanted this product to work. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the biggest rip-off on the planet. Unless you happen to be an octopus or other creature with more than two arms, it is an unbelievable pain to set up (water gushes EVERYWHERE). And then, after you finally, finally, *finally* manage to get the air bubbles out, it doesn't work. It's barely even cool to the touch. The Chillow people responded to my email request for assistance by saying they couldn't help me because they can't visually see what I'm doing wrong (very helpful... -- NOT!) So now I'm left trying to figure out how to best return this big, soggy, drippy mess...

This is the only product that allows me to sleep without hot flashes. The chillow keeps my back cool for a couple of hours so I can sleep on my back without hot flashes. When it warms I wake, grab the cool one I have on the floor next to my bed and go right back to sleep. By the time the second one has warmed the one I place on the floor has cooled and is ready to use. The coolness allows me to sleep 3 or 4 hours at at time without having a flash. Without the chillow I would not be able to sleep. I'm getting one for my dog! to keep her cool in summer.

The chill pillow moves around in the pillow and you have to constantly smooth it out, but it works. Bought it for my sister for a gift too.

This product is truly amazing -- never thought it would work as well as it does. I put each in its own pillowcase. Since they are filled with water, they ARE heavy -- but I put the larger one right on the mattress and lay my back on it at night, and it cools me right down. I use the smaller one on the pillow if I wake up at night and it is just enough extra cooling so I can get back to sleep. The insides do bunch up a little, especially when I use it on my pillow, but I straighten them out first thing in the morning when they are still slightly warm from sleeping on them and they are fine by bedtime.

I bought two sets of these. One for me. One for my daughter. They are a pain to set up. You'll spill some water in trying to fill them and get the air out. But now here's the bad part.We used them once. Fine! Worked well. No problems. Then the second time my daughter tried to use the large one, it leaked. So she threw it out and tried to use the little one. It leaked!Mine were still working so I had her use my little one. Then a few days later, I tried to use the little one. It leaked!The leaking is coming from the seam. I suppose I could repair them but I would probably have to do multiple repairs over the course of time. And who wants to sleep on a wet bed or pillow. Just bad news.We had seen the Forevercool at the comepetitor that starts with a [...] Same sort of concept but these are filled with gel. They don't like. They do expire, but you can still get three years of use out of them. We bought those. They don't feel quite as cold but they do really work and we like them a lot better.

I bought this because my pillow can never stay cool enough. When I received it, mine did not smell like chemicals as others have suggested. The set up was easy for me and I didn't have as much air in it to roll out. When it was all set up, I placed it in my satin pillowcase and laid my head down. I like it! It was actually nice and cool... Well about 2:00 in the morning, I woke up to a very warm Chillow and head. I readjusted my head but again, it heated up quickly. I took it out of my pillow and moved it to the side. It is nice at first and helps you fall asleep but it didn't keep me asleep. I have not tried to put my in the fridge for a bit as others have suggested, I migth try that next and see how it goes. I also haven't had mine long enough to see if I get the mildew smell others are talking about either.

I use both sizes for hot flashes. They were quick to set up and if the large one bunches up then you just massage the stuffing back into shape.

I love this thing. I have used it for years, and cannot sleep without it. I sleep with a frozen jel pack under my Sweet Relief and it really keeps it nice and cool, just the way I like it.

The only problem I have had with the Sweet Relief and also the Chillow is the cracking around the outer seam which causes it to leak. Then I have to patch it with Vyna bond and a piece of Vynal.

I have even bought the Sweet Relief for my friend and for my sister.

I use inside my pillowcase on top of the pillow. It is very soothing if you have a headache, don't feel well, or need to stay cool while you sleep. Keeps the "Hot Flashes away"! Stayed cool all night long. The small one is great, but doesn't stay cool as long. Three things I don't like are 1-I have to refrigerate it for a while for it to be cool enough, 2-It has a plastic almost mildewy smell, 3-It is heavy when you want to flip your pillow because you don't want to be that cool anymore. It is still very much worth having and very soothing help when you need it! I actually got the deal for two and think it will make a great gift!
