I have used this product for over 30 years for allergic reactions to smoke, perfume, and pollens that affect my sinuses, throat, and ears. If I catch the reaction early, usually one pill is enough to stop it. Sometimes I take another one 5 or 6 hours later. If I don't catch the reaction early, then several days of treatment is required. I've never needed to take the pills more frequently than every 5 or 6 hours. Years ago the pills did not make me drowsy, but now that I'm older, they do. They are the only allergy medication that I've ever found to be completely effective and I have tried others when my local drugstores stopped carrying this product. Thank heavens drugstore.com keeps it in stock!

I have been using Chlor-Tremetin since 1952, and in those days, it was prescription. Hands down, this is the best allergy relief medicine - whether name brand or generic -- and there is a reason it has been around for so long. I only use the 4 MG Tablet, (4 hours). I cannot say enough about this allergy medicine. I have tried all the newer allergy medicines, and NOT ONE comes even close to Chlor-Tremetin (or generic brand). PERIOD.

I use this any time my allergies flare up, usually in the spring time. This relieves the itchy throat, eyes, and even top of the mouth when it gets really bad for allergies. It says beware due to possible drowsiness however I usually feel no such effect. This might be since I have used this for many years. I tired other types, e.g. Clariton, and they never worked as well.

I use this as soon as I start to feel the onset of allergy symptoms. Prefer this to 12-24 medicine that contains ingredients that attack symptoms I don't have. Works quickly and effectively without side effects. It is getting harder to find the simpler 4 hour medicines in supermarkets and the big box pharmacies.

A pharmacist recommended this product to me, saying that it has the same ingredients as newer allergy fighters, but is less expensive. I have used it for years, and it does a good job of controlling my allergies, or at least minimizing them. I prefer the four hour variety, but often do not have to use more than one a day except during heavy pollen times.

This is very mild, and does the trick. Use as an antiaging trick to keep bags from forming under your eyes. You need nothing more.

I have been using this product for years. They used to have a 12 hr strength, but they don't seem to make that strength anymore. At any rate, this is the only antihistimine that I can take that will not make me drowsy. All the other brands make me want to pass out, even if I take half the recommended dosage and they don't even work all that well. This brand works rather quickly, typically within 15 minutes, and will clear up any problem I have from runny or congested nose to water eyes to sinus pressure. I recommend this product to everyone! Plus, my father is able to use this product with his blood pressure and heart medications without problems.
