I expected a more durable ball. It throws well, but our 50 pound, 2 year old doggie chewed it up in less than 5 minutes. We have purchased fetching balls in the past that were much more durable.

Other than the color of the balls, I'm not sure what the difference is, but both of my dogs LOVE these. They windup playing with them for hours just by themselves, which they don't do with normal tennis balls.
