I have a Standard Poodle who loves to play fetch. This is her toy of choice. She sees this and goes nuts! It is good because it flies well and is soft so that she doesn't get hurt when she catches it in her mouth. If this thing is anywhere near her reach, she is bringing it to my and driving me nuts until I take her out and play---so,we have to hide it from her:D

My dog has to have lots of exercise and this toy is a perfect for chasing, catching, fetching etc. He usually tears up his toys but not this one. We are on his third one because of using it so much and leaving it out in the weather.

This is an excellent toy for playing fetch and playing keep away. They can tug on it, chew on it, and catch it easily. The bright colors and domed shape, allows you to play in the dusk when most other toys are lost in the yard. It doesn't do so well in the wind.

Service and delivery comments:

Careful when ordering-there are different sizes offered in stores and this website doesn't list what size they sell. The colors shown indicate it was the larger size, but I received a medium size. I hope it'll work. Shipping was prompt.

Our Lab mix loved this toy, but chewed the corners off within a few days. If you have a dog that is not a chewer, you'll probably like this toy. If not, it's rather disapointing.

We have 3 Jack Russell Terriers who LOVE this toy! And they have had it for over 3 months and it's still in one piece! Believe me this is a recorde for our dogs. They are hard on toys but this one survives.

Recommend it for any dog that is hard on their toys.

I have bought these squirrel toys three seperate times, only to replace them because they got lost not due to wear!
the dog that plays with this chuckit squirrel is vicious when it comes to chewing on things and has yet to destroy one. It is absolutely her favorite toy and at the dog park i end up with extra dogs wanting to play with it instead of them playing with their frisbees.

this toy throws just like a frisbee but heavier and goes just as far. also it bounces and rolls on it's side if thrown correctly.

overall, i absolutely recommend this toy to anybody with a dog who fetches, and all my friends dogs get them as gifts for holidays

We bought the original squirrel for our oldest dog, but I received this one as a gift for two Great Pyrenees puppies. Not only did the puppies like it, the other dogs loved it, as well. Very durable, though hard to clean when the pups decide to take it into the mud.

I have a young Lab in an apartment and this has been a great way for her to get exercise. I toss it from our 2nd story deck to the beach. She loves it! Can't wait for me to get home to play. I've used it as a training tool, also. This has lasted months and months with supervision. A great way for her to work out any pent-up energy - which can lead to destructive behavior. I would rather buy a few of these than a new couch!

I tried to keep this out of my 1 year old Lab's reach unless I was playing with her. However, she got it on the sly and easily chewed off the corners, making it unusable.
