I didn't purchase this product, but fortunately I read the pamphlet inside before I used it and it says it can possibly fade your hair color...why would you want to take that chance? I plan to return it to the store. I use Clairol Color Stay Weekly Conditioning Gloss and it's great..I'll stick with that.

i just tried this stuff .. first off my hair bleach blonde on top and dark brown underneith .. i read that alot of people had problems with this product ruining brown hair so i only tried it on the blonde part .. it was easy to use, quick and smells great kind of fruity but it didn't really shine my hair my ends are still dry and it's just as soft as if i had just washed my hair and it gave my bleach blonde hair a little more of a yellow tint so all in all i wouldn't use this again .. the only good thing that came out of it was the smell which is why i gave it 2 stars.

if you want shine and soft, great smelling hair use Got 2b Smooth Operator Smoothing Satin Drops it smells amazing and is so soft and doesn't make your hair feel oily and it leaves a shine i just bought this a few days ago and i love it!

I bought this in hopes that it would add shine to my gray hair. Did not find anything about use for gray hair until I opened the box where it told me that it was not recommended...but no specific information was given. When I called Clairol, I was told that it would not work on gray hair and might discolor it, I suggested that they display that information more prominently on the outside of the box. The representative didn't seem particularly interested. Very disappointed, a waste of [$]

I love this product! Seems to be hard to find and I'm so glad I found it here. I have red hair (naturally) and I get compliments all the time on it. Every once in a while I feel like my natural color gets a bit dull and starts to look more auburn. To give my hair a boost I use Shine Happy! Would suggest everyone at least try it! It washes out and doesn't add color! My hair gets sooooo soft and managable.

I have naturally medium blonde hair. I get highlights on my crown every 8 weeks or so. I use this prodcut around week 4 or 5, to add shine and boost volume. As someone with natural blonde hair, it can lighten my hair if left on too long (over 10 mins). I love the product.

I am Asian and have naturally dark brown/black hair. I read about this product in magazines and tried it. It claimed to not lighten your hair, but it DID. It changed my hair color to a very worn-out looking lighter brown (almost reddish in the sun) that I did not like and the effect was permanent. I was careful to follow the directions and did not keep the product in my hair longer than I should have. If you have dark hair and don't want it lighter, then don't use this product. If you are fine with your hair becoming lighter, then maybe it will fine for you. It did give my hair a significant shine.

Oh, listen up! IF you color your hair, it will lighten it. It tells you on the box that it will not affect hair color, but it turned mine a weird strawberry blond! Ack! I am hopeful that I can find a brown that will cover this mistake. I should have known that peroxide was going to mess with my color. Now it is back to the drawing board. I had just wanted to add shine, but I ended up removing the color I had used, and it is just weird!!!

I have thick, wavy, natural medium neutral blonde hair - otherwise known as dishwater blonde! I live in FL and do get some highlights from the sun, but most of my 'highlights' are around my face and crown and are silvery grey hairs.

Most home haircolors I've tried in the past have turned my hair orangey-gold, so I'm afraid to experiment. BUT, I needed to somehow blend my silver in with the rest of my hair. This product worked quite well. I do think it slightly lightened up my overall color, but not obviously so. It did seem to blend the silver strands with the lighter blonde highlights and also made my hair smoother.

I'm very pleased I tried it and have used it several times since. Maybe I'll eventually work up the courage to step up to a permanent color option!
