Other "permanent" hair colors have faded much faster and the grays start to show through. Not because of new hair growth, but because of the color fading. The color/coverage of this product has outlasted those others by more than a week so far. My grays are hard to cover, so I'm pretty impressed. I really like using the Clairol Root Touch Up in between. It works really well, and you don't "burn" your hair by over coloring root to tip every time you need your roots re-done. Only issue that I would mention is that I used the medium brown 005 color hoping for that, a medium brown, and my hair came out very dark...almost black, so maybe step down the color you really want. My hair was a light to medium brown before so I wouldn't think it should've come out that dark. But that said, I am still very pleased...covering all the gray is usually a task!

I've tried many other brands but they always wash out after a few weeks. It easily lasts twice as long as the regular Nice N' Easy does. Well worth the extra couple of dollars!

It had become increasingly wiry and frizzy, so I decided to use this product. I saw immediate improvement in the texture. My hair is now much smoother, and it's very soft and shiny. The coverage is great, and the color is very natural looking. I have dark hair, and some color products look as if I used a magic marker, but this product adds lots of dimension. I highly recommend this product.

Now that I'm in my forties, covering my stubborn greys become more of a challenge. Many products claim to work on stubborn greys but Clairol's Nice and Easy Grey Solution is the only one that gives me coverage that looks natural and lasts.
