After having a tough time with my previous cleanser (cheapy from [@]) when it came to drying out my skin, I thought this cleanser for sensitive skin would solve that problem. WRONG! Although this product did make my face clear up and look healthy during the first 3.5 weeks of use, my skin is now SO irritated and dry around my upper lip and nostril, despite use of a high quality face lotion at night (Imperalis by Lush) and Neutrogena SPF 50 moistruizer during the day. My skin is literally peeling after applying large quantities of lotion day and night! It could be because I used prescription acne cream three nights last week and also use a very mild Alba toner at night, so I'm hoping that cutting out the acne cream will make this problem go away! For sensitive skin, I'd go with Cetaphil or Cervae, which I'll be switching to if my skin doesn't quit peeling and burning in the next two days.

I bought this to use on my sensitive skin and ended up having a horrible reaction. So I checked out the ingredients (which, admittedly, I should have done beforehand) I can't believe some of the things that are in this stuff!! Nonoxynol-9, parabens, fragrance, tetrasodium EDTA, imidazolidinyl urea!! Seriously??!! And this is supposed to be for sensitive skin?!!! Just google these things and you will be shocked at what you are putting all over your face!

I use this product one a day at night with the clarisonic cleaning system and I love it. It's very gentle on my sensitive skin and I feel like I glow when I'm done cleansing. My pores looked smaller after one week and my forehead wrinkles diminished. I plan on using this cleanser for a long time!

I've tried this cleanser and the other one by Clarisonic, the gentle cleansing gel. I love both and not sure which one I will purchase!

Great product! I have very sensitive, oily, horrible skin aging skin! I never thought a product other what the dermatologist suggested, Cetaphil would work for me! These Clarisonic cleansers are the best!!!!

I have very sensitive skin that is also quite troublesome, i.e. it's oily but easily irritated...and I love my Clarisonic, it really makes a difference. However, the Gentle Hydro Cleanser was not what I hoped it would be. I just don't get a clean feel after using it and if I don't alternate with another cleanser, I get some minor spots as if I have not cleansed my skin properly.

To follow up from the previous irritant reviewer, I have to express my total shock at the inclusion of Nonoxynol-9 in this "sensitive skin" product. Nonoxynol-9 is a harsh surfactant and microbicide. It's vastly more commonly known as "spermicide" due to its overwhelming use in OTC birth control products. Negative reactions to this chemical are common and can be quite severe, and yet they're putting it in a "sensitive skin" cleanser?! No thank you.

I have very sensitive skin that breaks out regularly. As long as I use this cleanser and the clarisonic brush, my face is clear! I can't believe I have clear skin now!

I prefer to use this without the clarisonic machine. When you use this with the machine, your face feels a bit drier. Otherwise, I just use a wet wipe to clean my makeup or sunscreen off and then I apply this cleanser to damp skin. This is great for oily skin girls (like me) that have irritated patches of skin too.

I am tired of good companies that promote products for sensitve skin that still include well-known irritants like Imidazolidinyl Urea(preservative/formeldehyde), Triethanolamine (a drying allergenic), Fragrance (chemical irritant), and Methylparaben and Propylparaben (can cause rashes and some link to cancer). This came in the box when I bought the Clarisonic machine, and I don't try anything without first having the ingredients - which they conveniently don't list for you. Instead, they try to hide behind all of the great "green" ingredients. The machine may be wonderful, but I can't recommend this cleanser to anyone.
