This facial cleansing device has been great for me. I used to have chronic cystic acne and nothing worked to help clear it up. I only use it twice a week and my skin is perfectly clear. I never get small pimples, huge bumps or anything and almost all my old blemishes have faded away after 3 months of use. I believe it's the deep cleansing action that has worked so well. It feels like a miracle since nothing else worked after I got off the pill.

I've never been one to pay too much attention to the health of my skin. But my girlfriend brought this home for me and it has done wonders for my skin that I never thought possible. Now she can't keep her hands off me!

This is the best skin cleanser I have ever used.

My girlfriend raved about using this product, but I found that it doesn't make any difference in my skin texture at all. It seems to do a decent job of cleaning, but I didn't see any noticable improvements in my skin as a result and I tend to think I get better exfoliation from a washcloth.

I wanted to write a reviw of the Mia to assure fellow sensitive-skin gals that the Mia is okay to use (at least in my experience) and truly is a friend to sensitive skin. I have very sensitive skin that seems to become red, irritated and angry with nearly every product I put on it. I weighted the pros and cons of buying the mia for weeks before I purchased it, simply because I was terrified it would irritate my sensitive skin and leave me red, dry and even more sensitive. I have been using the mia for 9 months and thus far have the following thoughts about it:
- Especially using the delicate brush head, it's been completely non-irritating and is, as Clarisonic states, okay to use with sensitive skin
- Noticeable improvements in skin texture (smoother and softer)
- The mia I don't believe is a cure for acne as other reviewers on this site, and other sites, will mention. If you have acne, don't look to this as a miracle cure (that's where your dermatologist will come in!)
- I've found success using the mia for about 40 seconds (as opposed to the full minute it runs for automatically) and only in the evening. This still has left me with noticeably better skin, but again, zero irritation.
- Lastly, avoid using the mia with the cleanser it comes with (especially for sensitive skin gals). Stick with your regular cleanser and/or a cleanser you know works for your skin.
Take home message: Mia is a keeper!

I'm 66 and have never had compliments on my skin so it must be true that products are better absorbed with its use! I've given 3 as gifts cuz I think it's great. Small and light enough for travel. Would be nice if it had a "needs charge" indicater.

Doesn't remove makeup very well but that doesn't matter because you should always wash off makeup before your face. May cause VERY SLIGHT drying but that's what face moisturizer is for! And that's ten times better than having an uneven skin tone and major acne! I can't promise that it will remove all your pimples but it will DEFINITELY HELP! I mean, seriously. I do not have a high paying job, i'm not rich, but I'm extremely thankful that I bought this product.

I use it every morning when I wake up and right before I go to bed. Sometimes I skip mornings and just use it at night. I always wash my makeup off first because it doesn't remove eye makeup very well. But that's fine you're supposed to wash makeup off first anyway! I squirt a quarter sized drop of my favorite face scrub on the brush, go through one cycle, then I use a face wash and another cycle. 2 cycles ensure that ALL the grime is removed from your face. The only bothersome thing about it is that I have to buy new brush heads every couple of months but that's not really that bad and I buy a duo pack (which means you get a second head for less.) Best thing is that EVERY TIME I wash my face with this I feel happy because it minimizes my pores and cleans so well. OH if you have cystic acne like me (I know this sounds crazy) but use the sensitive skin brush head. I learned this lesson the hard way but thank heaven that I ran into that [@] employee. She told me she used the Clarisonic and had the same acne as me. So to prevent breakouts/irritations, use the sensitive skin brush head. I am not a rich person at all but I put good money into my facial cleansers and my foundation and I am happy I invested in this product.

I've been using this in the evening after I've removed my eye makeup and it leaves my face feeling extra clean and looking fresh-scrubbed. Even the next morning my skin is noticeably smoother-feeling. Skin tone seems to be improved and blemishes seem to disappear faster. Unit is timed to work for only a minute so as not to overdo it.
