Great for cleansing and exfoliating

I am 49, have oily skin, wear foundation or a tinted moisturizer every day and have used Retin-A for almost 20 years. Between my oily skin and Retin-A usage, my skin, particularly in the winter, was flaky. Even with Retin-A, my pores were sometimes congested, especially in the summer. I use the Clarisonic twice a day with Bliss Steep Clean Cleansing Milk and find that my pores are tighter, I no longer have to use exfoliators (which irritated my skin and seemed to make it oilier.) Even though I first remove my makeup with a facial cleansing towelette, the Clarisonic further cleanses my face as evidenced by the makeup that shows up on the brush after usage. Tip: Place the brush in the top drawer of your dishwasher about once a week to clean and sanitize. This works well for makeup brushes as too.

Especially given the ...

Especially given the price, I've found this product to be wildly disappointing. I purchased the Clarisonic brush to stave off early signs of aging, and to improve the clarity and texture of my simultaneoulsy sensititve and mildly acne-prone skin. Within a few days of starting to use it, my skin started looking noticeably worse, with large whiteheads popping up all over. Since many skin care products seem to make skin look worse before they make it better, I stuck with it, and continued to use the Clarisonic for almost 3 months. Sadly, its performance on my skin never improved, and now I can no longer return it. I love my Sonicare toothbrush, but this product is a total rip-off.

If you want your skin absolutely clean, the clarisonic is the only way to do it effectively. I was a skeptic at first and had great success(or so I thought) keeping my face clean. I tried this on a whim because the description states that your skin care products would absorb better and be better utilized. I spend a lot on skin care so this piqued my interest. So happy I did. It has facilitated the effectiveness of my skin care regimen and I use less of it. I marvel at the comments made stating a washcloth works just as well. There is no comparison. The clarisonic simply outperforms anything I've tried (and that's a lot!). I'm so impressed by this little wonder.

This device provides a good cleansing of the skin. It's easy to use and quiet. I gave it three stars because I am not convinced that this is more effective than manual scrubbing.

This skin brush is amazing! Not only does it clean extremely effectively, but over time, it resurfaces the skin better than microdermabrasion. I have been using it daily for 2 1/2 years. It took about a month for my skin to completely adjust and the deep impurities to be removed, but after that, it really made a difference. I had good skin before, but now, NOBODY believes I am 50. Every time I go to a salon or spa, even without makeup, the people who work there want to know what I have done to keep my skin so young looking and many of them have subsequently bought this brush. I'd say that is a pretty good testimony to this product!

This product tells you how to use it by beeping when you need to move it from your forehead to your chin to your cheeks. I use it at night and it makes my skin clean and silky smooth. It's easy to clean, too.

This is a fantastic product. Minimizes pores. The sonic part of this must be doing something - other facial brushes do not have this effect. People have actually mentioned that my skin looks great - this has never happened before!!

I use once daily in the shower. It is better and gentler than any scrub. My skin is clearer and softer from using it. I thought it was probably a silly purchase, but now I can't do without it. You can use it with any soap or gel cleanser you like. You'll see a nice change in your skin.
