Indications
Temporarily relieves these symptoms due to hay fever or other upper respiratory allergies: runny nose, sneezing, itchy, watery eyes, itching of the nose or throat
Warnings
Safety sealed: do no use if the individual blister unit imprinted with Claritin® is open or torn. Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to this product or any of its ingredients. Ask a doctor before use if you have liver or kidney disease. Your doctor should determine if you need a different dose. When taking this product do not take more than directed. Taking more than directed may cause drowsiness. Stop use and ask a doctor if an allergic reaction to this product occurs. Seek medical help right away. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.

I was given this product when it was prescription only and it was quite expensive, even with insurance. I had very severe allergies which warranted having an EPI pen when it was severe enough to close by windpipe. Also I had a sinus infection continuously for a whole year. After taking Claritin D, the drainage subsided and now I only need to take this product in the Spring when everything is blooming. I'm so glad it's over the counter now and the 12 hour formula is available, because the 24 hr was too strong for me. Instead of telling people I have allergies, I now tell them I'm just "Allergy Challenged".

If it works for you great, but I like many others found it to be overhyped and the side effects far outweigh the benefits. While on it I am in a haze even after giving it a chance for several days and my allergies are not helped much. It gives me unsettled sleep with bizarre dreams, making me more tired throughout the day. I am staying away from this as I don't trust what other effects it may be having on me.

I take one of these every day as recommended by mt doctor. I am allergic to dust. These are great and recommend this product for preventive use of allergy symptoms

Helps me get through the day at work without constantly sneezing. I find it works the best for me and it's non drowsy, a real plus! I highly recommend!

How can something that is NON drowsy, make me drowsy? Makes my allergies about 50% better but still not a complete allergy remedy. My teen daughter gained weight using Claritin. Will they ever find a truly non drowsy allergy medication??

Horrible migraine side effect that occurs after about 3 days of use and lingers for about 1 week after discontinuing use. Proved this on several different tries over several years.
