when your allergys get bad and you can't breathe thru your nose because your nostrils are swollen shut. This will reduce that swelling and allow you to breath. i am not sure how it works on a runny nose but its great on a stuffy nose. priceless

If taken daily, usually protects me from most allergens. Relieves sneezing, runny nose, stuffy nose and throat/chest irritation.

I don't get allergies all that often. And when I do it's mostly when the trees are in bloom at the peak, then I experience awful sinus headaches and pressure, watery eyes, sneezing, etc. So I take this infrequently to get me over these symptoms without getting drowsy. Unfortunately, I took this right before an important event and it left me feeling woozy and light-headed and very drowsy. I had trouble concentrating. I had to perk up with espresso and even then it didn't really work. Even more unfortunate, this is 24 hr so the side effects lasted all day. I was probably more miserable than if I hadn't taken it. I should have eaten some honey and taken something more mild. Plus, you will need to prove your age before this is sent to you because of the narcotic in there that's supposed to perk you up to combat the drowsiness. Didn't work for me. This would probably be for the person who has severe symptoms.

I've used this product daily for years now. It prevents my allergies from getting me down on a daily basis. I like the decongestant because it keeps the sinuses clear and keeps me headache free.

Clartin D 24 is great. It works on seasonal allergies, but also works on other allergies. I am allergic to shell fish and bug bites -- and whenever I have a concern about either, I take this and the itchiness, hives, and general irritation goes away. And it doesn't make me drowsy like other pills (such as Benadryl). I highly recommend.
