Common uses for Claritin
Claritin 30 10mg Tablets is an antihistamine used for relieving symptoms of seasonal allergies such as runny nose; sneezing; itchy, watery eyes; or itching of the nose and throat. It may also be used for other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Before using Claritin
Some medicines or medical conditions may interact with Claritin 30 10mg Tablets. INFORM YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over-the-counter medicine that you are taking. ADDITIONAL MONITORING OF YOUR DOSE OR CONDITION may be needed if you are taking amiodarone. DO NOT START OR STOP any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval. Inform your doctor of any other medical conditions, including kidney or liver problems; allergies; pregnancy; or breast-feeding. Claritin 30 10mg Tablets should not be used in CHILDREN younger than 6 years old without checking with the child's doctor; safety and effectiveness in these children have not been confirmed. Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns about using Claritin 30 10mg Tablets.

Directions for Claritin
Follow the directions for taking Claritin 30 10mg Tablets provided by your doctor. TAKE CLARITIN 30 10mg TABLETS with or without food. STORE CLARITIN 30 10mg TABLETS at room temperature, between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C), in a tightly closed container, away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Some brands of Claritin 30 10mg Tablets are packaged in a blister unit. DO NOT USE a tablet or capsule if the blister unit is open or torn. IF YOU MISS A DOSE of Claritin 30 10mg Tablets, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take 2 doses at once.

Cautions for Claritin
DO NOT USE CLARITIN 30 10mg TABLETS IF you are allergic to any ingredient in Claritin 30 10mg Tablets. TAKING CLARITIN 30 10mg TABLETS IN HIGH DOSES MAY CAUSE DROWSINESS. Do NOT take more than the recommended dose without checking with your doctor. CLARITIN 30 10mg TABLETS MAY INTERFERE WITH SKIN ALLERGY TESTS. If you are scheduled for a skin test, talk to your doctor. You may need to stop taking Claritin 30 10mg Tablets for a few days before the tests. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINES, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU BECOME PREGNANT, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Claritin 30 10mg Tablets while you are pregnant. CLARITIN 30 10mg TABLETS IS FOUND in breast milk. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you use Claritin 30 10mg Tablets, check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.

Possible side effects of Claritin
NO COMMON SIDE EFFECTS HAVE BEEN REPORTED with the proper use of Claritin 30 10mg Tablets. If you notice any unusual effects, contact your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. CONTACT YOUR DOCTOR IMMEDIATELY if you experience severe or persistent dizziness. AN ALLERGIC REACTION to Claritin 30 10mg Tablets is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue. This is not a complete list of all side effects that may occur. If you have questions about side effects, contact your healthcare provider. Call your doctor for medical advice about side effects. If you take too much Claritin
If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include severe drowsiness or headache, and fast or irregular heartbeat.

IF USING CLARITIN 30 10mg TABLETS FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, obtain refills before your supply runs out.
