This stuff has very few ingredients to irritate sensitive skin. I'm 32 and battling adult acne. Cetaphil sensitive formula left my face like an oil slick by day's end, and Burt's Bees Complexion Soaps (both Carrot and Tomato types) dried me out to the point of peeling; but C&C Sensitive Deep Action Cream Cleanser is just right! Being so gentle it doesn't strip off your makeup, so I smear a layer of the cleanser over my dry, made-up face and wipe it off with a tissue, then proceed to wash as usual with more of the cleanser. For acne you'll need an additional product, since the salicylic acid in this cleanser doesn't stay on long enough to fight zits. I like Nature's Cure benzoyl peroxide gel and herbal tablets. You might want to follow that with a moisturizer (I recommend Kiss My Face Alpha & Aloe oil-free unscented lotion for night and Neutrogena Sunblock Lotion for Sensitive Skin for daytime). I used it once, and while it had an immediate effect on my pimple, it also an immediate effect on my face, with broke out in huge dry red blotches, and stayed that way for days! I'm sure it's fine for anyone with normal to oily skin, but if yours is dry to sensitive, beware. Reviewed by 15 customers Sort by Displaying reviews 1-10 Previous | Next » Pros

Best Uses Comments about Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser, Sensitive Skin, 6.5 oz: This product claims "oil-free" and I don't consider myself to have oily skin, but this product made my face really oily and break out more. Didn't work for me. The only thing I like is the tingle feeling. Pros

Best Uses Comments about Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser, Sensitive Skin, 6.5 oz: After a few days of using this I started to get really small pimples. :( If it hadn't been for that, I would have liked it becuase it was really gentle on my skin. ( I have combination skin) Pros

Comments about Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser, Sensitive Skin, 6.5 oz: I love this product! I couldn't find it any store anymore, so I stocked up on one purchase from drugstore.com. Will continue to buy this product from drugstore.com as long as the manufacturer makes it! Comments about Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser, Sensitive Skin, 6.5 oz: I started using this product in conjunction with Neutrogena's Invigorating face pads, this at night, the pads in the morning, and in less than 2 weeks, my face is smooth, not dry, and clearer! I use a spot treatment occasionally, the weather and humidity still cause occasional breakouts, but both of these products are amazing. I thought this was just for teens, and even though it's not foaming (like I love), this is a great product, even for my sensitive skin! Comments about Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser, Sensitive Skin, 6.5 oz: This stuff is not for people with really sensitive skin. I used it once, and while it had an immediate effect on my pimple, it also an immediate effect on my face, with broke out in huge dry red blotches, and stayed that way for days! I'm sure it's fine for anyone with normal to oily skin, but if yours is dry to sensitive, beware. Comments about Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser, Sensitive Skin, 6.5 oz: It's good, but not great. It's better with a washcloth. I like that the ingredient list is so short. Didn't dry me out, though I'm slightly oily. Didn't do anything for blackheads, but was a good basic cleanser. The menthol is very mild. Comments about Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser, Sensitive Skin, 6.5 oz: I started using this product in the winter (not the smartest choice because your skn dries more), but because it said for sensitive skin I thought it was o.k. Not even; I broke out, my face was flakey dry, and in a week it was my birthday and I still had zits all over! The only thing I liked was the tingle! Comments about Clean & Clear Deep Action Cream Cleanser, Sensitive Skin, 6.5 oz: Although this cleanser contains salicylic acid, don't expect it to do anything for those of you with acne. This is merely a good basic cleanser. With that being said, I think I'll just stick to Cetaphil from now on, because Cetaphil is, if not the best, one of the best basic cleansers out there.
