This product is great. I've have mild acne for a while and since I've been using this product my skin has cleared up. I had at most two pimples during the three month span of using this product. This is amazing because I usually have little spots on my forehead that just never seem to go away. The only downside to this product is that it really dries out your skin, so be sure to moisturize afterwards. Also, the smell isn't bad, its just really strong.

So I have acne-prone, oily skin and my face needs really strong products to have any affect. I bought this astringent because it said it was strong, and it is. It really takes off dirt and junk off my face that my face wash missed. My only complaint, which is a weird one, is that after about a week of using this astringent two of my fingers (the two that I would use to hold the cotton ball with the astringent on it) got super dry and started peeling; almost like they got burned. Moral: wash your hands after using this product. Other than that, no complaints. Skin is looking better.

i used this for about 2 weeks and every time i use it it burns my skin and drys it out. i have really oily skin thats y i bought this and it doesnt get rid of the oil or the pimples. im going to try the sensitive one.

I use this product daily and it does wonders to get rid of and prevent acne. This makes my skin feel smooth and clean. My only complaint is that when applied, for the first ten or fifteen minutes, this product burns and stings my face. It's also dries the skin out, but applying a moisturizer after use prevents that problem. I would not recommend this product for any one with sensitive skin, but overall i think the product is good.

This stuff works fine for drying up zits and blackheads, and does so rather quickly, but it is STRONG and definitely not for anyone with sensitive skin. I made the mistake of applying it all over my face and ended up looking like I'd gotten a chemical peel. I have used other 2% salicylic toners in the past and did not have the same reaction. I still keep some on hand as an emergency zit remedy, but now I make sure to only spot-treat.

My teenage boy likes it simple, so this is as simple as it gets. Just moisten a cotton pad and wipe, the evidence of how well it works is left behind on the pad. Both my teenagers and I use it daily, morning and night, due to our oily skin.
