I use the sensitive skin version of this cleanser sometimes and it works very good. I decided to try the regular version of this out and man was I sorry first off it smelled really strong and it stung my face really bad and made it red and got all dried out. What a horrible product now I see why they make the sensitive skin one it is for people like me.

I'm 20. I have oily skin on some days, and dry skin on other days. It's never both oily in some places and dry elsewhere, it's just one or the other. That said, it's always difficult to find a cleanser that works for me long-term. I have tried countless cleansers that had anti-acne ingredients and claimed to clear your skin, but while they would worked on the acne I currently had, new acne would appear later on. I then started using a cleanser for sensitive skin and hydrogen peroxide on a cottonball to treat my pimples and they began to clear.

Seeing this product claiming to be antibacterial caught my attention. After all, isn't it better to treat the bacteria before the acne can grow, rather than treat acne after it's already there? This in mind, I bought it. I've been using it for a year now, and my skin is almost ALWAYS clear, except for those days when my skin gets dry and I forget to moisturize. No other cleanser has cleared my acne as much as this one has.

My 17 year-old guy friend is always asking me how I treat my skin since he has bad acne. I had him come over everyday for a week to test-drive this cleanser and he absolutely loved it. His skin was looking better after such a short time!

* One downside is that it may make your skin feel a little dry afterwards. Not necessarily tight, just a dry texture, so you may need to moisturize right afterwards when your skin is still damp or after toning.

Also, if you wear makeup everyday, make sure you scrub long enough to get rid of it because sometimes there is some residue left over since this is a lather and not a foam. I would recommend using an alcohol-free toner afterwards just to make sure, or a make-up removing product before washing. *

For removing makeup, I wouldn't say this is the best. For removing acne, well... I might just say so then.

I started using this cleanser because I stopped believing in "acne cleansers" containing medication that promised to get rid of acne.I'm happy to discover that this cleanser really does do it's job in keeping my acne-prone skin relatively blemish-free. (I believe it's due to the Triclosan as that has always managed to work for my skin!)I no longer have to sift through reviews and stores finding the best promising "acne cleanser" because I can trust this basic and simple cleanser.The cleanser is in gel form but lathering it up with water gives a nice foamy consistency which washes the face with a nice clean feel. No residue or film can be felt on the skin.[...]4 stars because I do experience an occasional pimple (MUCH less than before) and I still suffer from some blackheads on my t-zone.

I use this product every day; morning and night. It makes my skin feel clean and refreshed. I've been using it for almost a month now and my skin is so soft and acne free. I really love this product.

I do not like this product, i have normal to oily skin all this product does is leave my skin burning and very dry. Bottom line i wont use this product again.

Works well, I've been using this product for about 6 months and I'm very happy. My sixteen year old also uses it and he has great skin.

I have tried to puchase off/store brands that compare themselves to Clean&Clear but nothing is like the real thing. It is all that I have used for years and my skin is happy. It takes off make-up easily, gets all the eye make-up off, and makes my skin feel fresh and clean!

It is really hard to find a product that can address my combination skin, but, this product gives my skin a great feeling after each wash.

I LIKE CLEAN AND CLEAR I HAVE THE SHINE CONTROL CLEANSER ONE,BUT I DO NOT LIKE THIS ONE. FIRST OF ALL IT MAKES YOU FEEL VERY IRRITATED WHEN YOU STEP OUT THE SHOWER,I THOUGHT MAYBE IT WAS BECAUSE I JUST TRYED IT FOR ONE DAY BUT IT HAPPENED AGAIN TODAY. I HATE IT WHEN CLEANSERS/SCRUBS/EXFOLIATORS MAKE YOUR SKIN IRRITATED. THEN IT WAS TIGHT EVEN WHEN I APPLIED MY OLAY MOISTURIZER. AND MY FACE NEVER FEELS LIKE THAT WITH MY OLAY FOAMING FACE WASH FOR SENSITIVE SKIN. IT FEELS CLEAN AND CALM,FINALLY AFTER I WASH MY FACE IT FELT GREASY AFTER TWO HOURS. I SAID OH NO THATS IT!!! I HAVE OILY SKIN AND WHEN MY FACE GETS OILY/GREASY IT'S TIME TO CALL IT QUITS. SO I THREW IT IN A PLASTIC BAG AND TOOK IT BACK TO THE STORE AND GOT MY ORIGINAL BRAND OLAY. I GUESS IT'S NOT FOR SENSTIVE SKIN,BUT IT ALSO FEELS OILY TO SO THEY NEED TO WIPE OFF THE "OIL FREE" LOGO.
