I'd tried more expensive products, Body Shop, etc., but kept coming back to this. Then a houseguest tried it one morning and put if perfectly. "This is how a face scrub is -supposed- to work." It is not too mild -- you feel scrubbed -- but not abrasive. Pleasant scents.

Its thick, but once you get the right amount for YOU, it works nicely.

This stuff did not work for me at all. Within less than an hour of applying my makeup, my skin already felt and looked oily. For something that is supposed to control shine, it did nothing but make it ten times worse. It has a pleasant smell but that's about it. It doesn't do a good job of really cleaning your skin, and takes forever to wash it off. It makes my skin feel almost sticky after using it. I've used much better cleansers for this low price. Clean & Clear always falls short for me, it's probably time for me to stop trying their products, and this one will be going in the garbage can.

Made my skin a lot smoother. I use it in the morning instead of a cleanser because it is just like a cleanser but with little beads to make skin smoother. Does not help much with shine, though.

This scrub smelled great and left my skin soft afterwards, but an hour to two later, my face was still just as oily. So the fact remains, it's gentle and smells great--but not really helpful for oily skin at all. This stuff I'd probably give to a younger sibling to get them started on a skin routine without giving them something harsh and icky-smelling to start out with.

Smells wonderful, and feels like it works great, but doesn't really clean my pores all that great, and my face is still shiny about an hour after my shower. I have an oily t-zone, especially in the summer and thought this product could help my face. It has done nothing for me. My pores are still dirty and my face still shiny.

I use this in the mornings as part of my daily routine and it's been wonderful. The scent is invigorating, my skin feels refreshed and the cleanser keeps oil and shininess under control.

I've only used this twice so far, but I noticed right away the invigorating lemon scent. It's a nice, fresh aroma that will do what the product says - wake you up! I have sensitive, acne-prone skin too, but I found this scrub to be very gentle (don't scrub too hard!) and calming. So far, I'm not sure how well it combats shine, as I still notice my skin turning oily within a few hours. Overall, it's a good product.

When I first saw this product i just thought that Clean & Clear had changed the color of their original Morning Burst which is orange. This stuff however is way better and it smells terrific and wakes you up. it also makes your skin feel very smooth and is a great unharsh exfoliator.
